So I saw this at the WaPo and I was struck by how low we have lowered the bar.

As America has maxed out their credit cards, and refinanced their house to the hilt. When will ‘they’ come for your home? ‘They’ have taken America’s money. The country is broke, the states are broke, many cities are broke… America as well as Americans; have been stripped of their cash. When will ‘they’ come for your home. We are one housing market downturn away, from the obvious, ‘they’ will come for your home. The dots connect in a disturbing pattern. Strengthened by a New Bankruptcy Bill, When will ‘they’ come for your home? Are you prepared?

On Collaboration

Something unique happens when people work together. When they join energies and gifts.

Because sometimes the whole truly is greater than the sum of its parts.

Not always, but sometimes.

At ePluribus Media, we are absolutely more than the ‘sum of our parts.’ That’s the mission. That’s the point.

We offer the opportunity to take ideas, research, writing, and give it form by collaborating with other members… knowing the final product is all the better for it.

When that happens… work is transformed. And it transforms those who do the work. And that’s kind of transformation is magic.

We brainstorm, research, write, edit, think and rethink, design, publish, publicize, share. And we’ve done that with people we’ve come to know well yet have never met face to face. It’s the [shared] ‘vision thing.’ And it works.

Gertrude Stein had a great line about Paris… “It gives back more than it takes.” To find a place, or person or an experience like that is rare but not impossible. Collaboration gives more than it takes away.

That’s been our experience. And we love the experience. But hey, we’re not greedy.
