My eyes went out of focus for a moment and I thought you said “New world threat”!
🙂
I guess we could have a good thread about that, if anyone wants–a thread for the extremely paranoid and the realistic, and of course it will be challenging to tell the difference between the two, the way things are going.
If I stick to my idea of “new world threat” maybe this is a good excuse to point folks back to my one and only diary here, about US activities in Bulgaria and Paraguay, which no one ever read! (Which proved the point I was making in the diary.) If you’re interested–really, it’s not so bad that it deserved to be ignored–you can see it here: http://www.boomantribune.com/story/2006/4/15/221119/666
I agree: it seems we don’t have enough time to shine a spotlight on all U.S. military activities, especially when the government is quietly impacting — taking advantage of — poor economies and poor people. Even when we learn what is happening, discovering the rationales can be bewildering. One cannot simply call up the State Dept. and rely on answers….
Thanks for the diary.
