I’ve got it doing all sort of stuff. Such as: on/off, volume/channel sequences, mute. That’s all I got programmed today, but it takes up to 50 commands, so I’ve got a ways to go.
I am way more tired than a person ought to be after mowing only her front yard. I think I’ll just sit here in a corner and sip my beer and chuckle as y’all say funny things.
Of course, you would think of that, Izzy. Leather loafers. Artfully paint splattered & grass stained. If only I had a digital camera I could display them proudly in your next Friday Shoe Blogging.
We’re Americans, we can’t be bothered to know about Canada. Sheesh.
We were at dinner tonight and searching for something to talk about and I asked Mr. Nature if he’d be able to watch Carolina in the hockey playoffs while he’s in FL. Then I wondered where in Canada Edmonton is. It took us about 5 mintues to talk it through before we settled on Alberta. Just because it sounded familiar. Duh.
Hey, Toni! I was reading about your upcoming trip with The World’s Cutest Child, and how it may be a different experience now that he’s older and bigger. I remember taking my son on airplane trips at about that age and although he was really good, by the time he had walked all over me, leaning over the seat to flirt with the people in back, I felt like I’d been beat up. Wish I could just beam you where you’re going!
What a great thing to do for him! That’s one of those things I’d probably keep in a fireproof box. I’m so paranoid that I’ll lose all of my old photos in a fire or something. Everything else can be replaced.
IVG was around earlier today — he did indeed have fun last night, and after their company left they both fell asleep watching tv. He said he’d try to make it tonight. He’s got some pix to show us. And NDD was also around this evening, you saw his clouds — the last I heard, he was heading out to buy some vanity lightbulbs to appease MsNDD. He hasn’t been back, tho … 🙂
Later I was at my friends place till midnight. The one with the flood pictures this spring. Anyway it was a nice night for a bonfire, enough breeze to keep the MN state birds at bay.
Hey, diane opened a new one and MM is over there, come join us.
I remember once being chided here for being a newlywed. I can, however, appreciate the idea of having the whole bed to myself. Except, my cats won’t let me sleep alone.
Certain shamans in the Amazon claim the spirits they talk to use the (translated) phrase “swift tapirs” to mean “night.” So I bid you a fond good swift tapirs, Family Man.
Clean cafe and plenty to drink. Come in and enjoy.
All right, where is everybody. Still talking about fruit that looks like human anatomy.
… voice remote do-dad. Did you get it figured out?
I’ve got it doing all sort of stuff. Such as: on/off, volume/channel sequences, mute. That’s all I got programmed today, but it takes up to 50 commands, so I’ve got a ways to go.
Did you get PS installed?
Hi Family Man and Olivia!
How’s our very own live-blogger doing tonight? 🙂
I am way more tired than a person ought to be after mowing only her front yard. I think I’ll just sit here in a corner and sip my beer and chuckle as y’all say funny things.
Now Kansas, you know in the cafe nobody is going to let you sit quietly and sip a beer. 🙂
You mean I’ll have to chug it? 🙂
chug! chug! chug!
Do you have one of those hoses attached to a funnel that frat boys use?
Heck, I thought those were for siphoning gas!
I’ll just sit here in a corner and sip my beer and chuckle as y’all say funny things.
Don’t say that! I freeze under pressure…
BTW, I hope you were wearing sturdy footwear for that lawn mowing!
Of course, you would think of that, Izzy. Leather loafers. Artfully paint splattered & grass stained. If only I had a digital camera I could display them proudly in your next Friday Shoe Blogging.
Hi, kansas!!
Well, I’m just gonna pull up this chair and sit beside you … 🙂
O! Hi! O!
So glad to have company here in my corner. Have a peanut.
Here’s me working in the yard today:
Which proves I wasn’t on the couch all day!
Look at Ms. Trim and Slim!!
Hey Katiebird,
I think your vaulting pole is a bit short.
I’ll be back in a little bit. George is whining again to go out.
Hi kansas, KB, FM, and Olivia. How is everyone tonight?
And Izzy, too.
Just fine, we’re watching Prairie Giant. The story of Tommy Douglas.
Who is Tommy Douglas? The name sounds familiar.
… father of universal health care, also considered The Greatest Cdn.
We’re Americans, we can’t be bothered to know about Canada. Sheesh.

D’oh! Just call me the Idiot American living in Canada.
It’s a great movie. I’ll be back when it’s over.
I’m back but totally drained. It was maybe the best movie ever. Sleep calls.
zzzz
See you all tomorrow!
How ’bout you … how are you doing … another day closer. 🙂
One day closer and I just keep plugging away at the grading. I just finished the soundtrack project for 3 classes. Tomorrow, their final essays.
How was your day?
Hi Kansas. Good to “see” you.
We’re going to drive to the land of hanging chads, over 3 days. We plan on stopping to see some friends at some point.
I kind of wish that we could just beam ourselves there, too. Then my parents could have spent more time with Andrew.
Take lots of pictures. Now that my kids are older I realize how very few pictures I took of them with my Mom or my Grandmother while she was alive.
I am taking all of our photos, China and beyond, so my mom and I can work on his scrapbook and life-story book.
We will take tons of pictures.
What a great thing to do for him! That’s one of those things I’d probably keep in a fireproof box. I’m so paranoid that I’ll lose all of my old photos in a fire or something. Everything else can be replaced.
Nah…got the 9:00 Blues [/clik “listen Now” if ya wanna join me] on the stereo, a frosty paralyzer at hand, and a tired body and mind.
Evening all.
I’d love to hear your interpretation of SN’s wallpaper art. Maybe we’ll have to link to it later in the late night cafe … 🙂
Thx for the link, I’m listening now.
How was your pizza?
pizza was excellent, the beer’s even better.
I’ve lost my allure. 🙂
Being an inveigler … better than a nag 😉
They blew the feed on Jazz After Hours…
I thought it was my connection or something …
That is a fu*kup…they’re automated late at night and either the satellite feed’s down or they have a malfunction and nobody’s in the studio to fix it.
It sucks cuz that’s a good program…comes out of Seattle.
We, GNU’rs, OTOH, always have a live body in the studio…
You GNU’rs are obviously better … 😉
Yeah, it won’t fix itself.
Have you seen IVG or ‘Kota around this eve?
IVG was around earlier today — he did indeed have fun last night, and after their company left they both fell asleep watching tv. He said he’d try to make it tonight. He’s got some pix to show us. And NDD was also around this evening, you saw his clouds — the last I heard, he was heading out to buy some vanity lightbulbs to appease MsNDD. He hasn’t been back, tho … 🙂
NDD’s errand musta paid dividends…<wink><wink><nudge><nudge> :{)
I could say something here about his signature move from last night … but I better not. 🙂
It’s too quiet in here; it’s putting me to sleep…well, that and a couple brews.
Think I’ll call it and toddle off to sleepville.
Be well, sweet dreams.
Catch ya on the flip.
Peace
Alas NDD, I wasn’t enough to keep d awake … 🙂
Later I was at my friends place till midnight. The one with the flood pictures this spring. Anyway it was a nice night for a bonfire, enough breeze to keep the MN state birds at bay.
Hey, diane opened a new one and MM is over there, come join us.
My computer keeps freezing every time someone tries to use the printer. Gaaa.
Now that it’s back up I’m too tired to stay up and chat with all of you fun late nighters.
But I just got here.
Hiya Toni. How many more days of school?
5 days. Two regular days and 3 half-days of exams. I just finished grading a huge project. Next on the agenda, final essays for 3 classes.
How are you doing, besides the printing problems?
I’m doing great. Mr. Nature is leaving in the morning for a weeklong conference in FL, so I get the bed all to myself!!!!
Oh, and it’s ice cream or cheerios for dinner for the whole week.
I remember once being chided here for being a newlywed. I can, however, appreciate the idea of having the whole bed to myself. Except, my cats won’t let me sleep alone.
You know what’s really sad? I’m sort of a newlywed myself. <Hangs head in shame>
Was it you who teased me? I can’t remember who it was. How long have you been married to Mr. SN?
Not even 3 years. But we were both married for over 20 years before – so it all kind of blends together into one loooooong marriage!
Awwwww.
That’s less than my husband and me.
The bloom fades much faster the second time around. 🙂
Hello Andi, SN, Olivia, Toni, KB, Kansas, Izzy and dada. I don’t think I missed any one.
It’s past my bedtime and a date with a big bowl of cherry ice cream, so…..
Good night Andi, SN, Olivia, Toni, KB, Kansas, Izzy, dada and anyone who I’ve missed.
See ya’ll tomorrow.
Night, Courtney. Dream of another good story to update your blog with. 🙂
Certain shamans in the Amazon claim the spirits they talk to use the (translated) phrase “swift tapirs” to mean “night.” So I bid you a fond good swift tapirs, Family Man.
Night FM
It is time for this girl to go to bed. I’ll stop in tomorrow in between papers.
Night everyone.
Good swift tapirs, Toni, and sweet dreams.
Me, too. zzzzzzzzz……………….
And I didn’t go a good job keeping you awake either … 🙂
Sleep well kansas!
Peace
