   Apparently a lot of folks did just that:  BBC News

   Around 1,000 fans arrived for the Ivory Coast tie in their traditional bright orange trousers – but bearing the logo and name of a Dutch brewery.

   To protect the rights of the official beer they were denied entry, so the male fans promptly removed the trousers and watched the game in underpants.

   Fifa said an attempt at an “ambush” publicity campaign was not allowed.

   That’s different…

   Officials in Western Australia have called for the army to be deployed to stop an invasion of cane toads.

   The toxic amphibians have spread in plague-like numbers across tropical Australia since being introduced to the country in the 1930s…

   …Cane toads are big, warty creatures and have had a devastating effect on Australian wildlife. They carry a venom so powerful it can kill crocodiles, snakes and other predators in minutes. All attempts to fight the spread of the cane toad have so far failed.

   And they’re suggesting putting them in the freezer to dispose of them humanely.  Why do I keep picturing the Australia military marching down the road armed with freezers on wheels?

   The U.S. military said the man claiming to be the new al Qaeda in Iraq leader is Abu Ayyub al-Masri, an Egyptian with ties to al Qaeda’s No. 2 leader.

       Maj. Gen. William Caldwell, a U.S. military spokesman in Baghdad, said al-Masri apparently is the same person as a man identified by the nom de guerre Abu Hamza al-Muhajer who has claimed to have succeeded Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and vowed to avenge him in threatening Web statements in recent days.

   North Korea is accelerating preparations for testing a missile that has the potential to strike the United States, a U.S. government official said Friday. A test of the Taepodong-2 long-range missile may be imminent, the official said.

       The official agreed to speak but only on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the information.
