Happy birthday and thanks for all your work on our behalf.
Here’s a fun funny thing to do when commuting (thanks to my housemate): when being passed by vehicles, read the vehicle model type and add “anal” to the name. Examples: Discovery=anal discovery, Ford explorer=anal explorer, etc.
Try not to think of this as your going down the road.
You are my favorite feminist voice. Your name came up more than once on my trip and stay at Cabingirls Cabin because of your deep understanding of patriarchal systems. I hope you have a terrific day and that you are feeling better!
If those in the pond are wondering about the locale of Wilderness Wench, she is fine, but unable to complete her move due to the flooding in the Catskills. She hopes to get going as soon as the local roads and highways are passable. Otherwise, beside persistent aging of her car, all is well.

Bad luck when the Argentine goalkeeper had to be replaced, this limited replacing only two field players in a tough match of 120 minutes. The choice for Julio Cruz was IMO poor, a defensive tactics protecting the 1-0 advantage. Against Germany you should go for the 2nd goal instead, so Messi was a better choice. Julio Cruz, ex Feyenoord Rotterdam, did score in the PSO.
Absolutley agree with you. There is also that darn custom Argentina has that when they make a goal, they all retreat to defend the score. This allows the other team to attack freely. in addition, every ball they got, they kicked up and predictably they lost those balls. Instead they should have attacked, attacked, attacked.
I guess no one agreed with Pekerman in puting in Cruz. Then again, there is 2010 WC, And Messi, Aguero, Gago, and Ustari, the goalkeeper will be in.
Do you know why the brawl with Bierhoff started????????

would also like to send you a happy birthday wish. So would you rather have Angelina Jolie or Catherine Zeta-Jones arrive on your doorstep? (I think I’m projecting here)
I hope you have a fine, fine day.
Make a wish.
Happy birthday!!!
Now, back to rubbing my eyes, trying to clear my vision up…but at least it’s FRIDAY! 😀
I’ll save the “good” part for when we’ve both ascertained it’s true.
It should be for me — I’m taking a vacation day. Though if it were really good, I should have been able to sleep in.
Lucky you. 😛
In other news, there’s a WSJ article about D.C. businesses paying homeless people less than the minimum wage to evict people from their homes.
Pretty fucked up, eh?
Keep bringing up stories like that first thing in the morning and I’m going to have to put a nanny filter on your computer.
Hey, don’t blame me! Besides, it’s probably an issue that should be examined more…
Thanks PsiFighter!
Marmotdude Birthday! Awesome. Thank you so much, Andi!
Here I thought my birthday had rolled around again and I didn’t even notice that it was spring.
I was going to bring a cake, too.
Morning CG.
Morning, FM. How are you doing?
I’m finishing up some of the homework for my class this morning…
Just waking up. I thought today was your final exam.
How’re you doing this am?
A little tired and a little anxious. But looking forward to the feeling of relief when I finish the exam.
though I’m pretty sure you actually don’t need any — I suspect your smarts are a much better way to do well.
I think I’m going to need the luck on this one. 🙂
You won’t need the luck CG, but here’s wishing you good luck anyway.
Now tear that test apart. 🙂
You’re welcome!
Happy Birthday Indy.
and a little extra with a cherry on top.
That’s quite a dessert. Did you use your own ice cream to make it? 🙂
I certainly did and picked the cherries myself.
Hope Indy buys that. 🙂
You’re welcome Indy.
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy I love birthdays. Other peoples that is. 🙂
Hah you still don’t know when though. 🙂
Now you just hold on there Miss Livy! 😛
You know subdued … like what you did for me … 😉
I’m off to work now. Good luck today — I hope your ice cream experiment goes better today and you end up w/ frozen stuff. 🙂
Have a good day at work Olivia.
Good morning Andi and Psi.

Morning Olivia.
How are you this morning? Are your relatives still w/ you?
I’m fine this am. They left last night. By the time they left, I was awake and almost jumped back into the 24/7, but I made myself go to bed.
How’re you doing today? I would think at work today it will be a breeze.
… w/ only your ice cream on the ToDo list?
I’m doing well thanks! And yes, it’ll be a good day … and it’s a long w/e to boot. 🙂
Yeah it’s Canada Day weekend. Aren’t we Canadians lucky. 🙂
Here, you should probaby get started … 😉
Who says I haven’t? See I figure I will be Canadian to start with and end up American for the 4th.
Ahhhh brings back old memories. I haven’t been an international drinker since the last time I flew back from Europe. 🙂
Have a happy no-FCH day.
And I hope you have a fun time this w/e.
I love what you did w/ the cherry stem! 🙂
— on both things. 😉
Okay, I guess it’s time to get my tush in gear.
See ya Andi.
Two of my favorite things! Dessert and cake! ;p
And thank you for the flower … 🙂
No fancy pictures; my planned cherry theme seems to be popular. 🙂
Just happy to have you with us and really glad to have gotten to meet you.

Morning SN.
Morning, FM. Going up into the 90s again -yuck. Did you make ice cream yesterday?
Yeah it was up to 96 here yesterday. Good staying inside weather.
Yes I made ice cream yesterday and trying a new batch and recipe today.
How’re are you this am? Don’t go to much out into that heat today.
with pink coloured white chocolate?
Not yet. I’m still at the learning to walk stage. I figure get a good vanilla going then branch out.
However, I did put chocolate bits into the first batch yesterday. 🙂
Good on the no pictures because the “thank you” image I’m trying to use for you will not cooperate. 🙂 Thanks twice, {{SN}}. I’ll email you later.
And in case I missed anyone:

Here ya go, Indy… Happy Birthday!
When I saw Birthday Edition in the cafe, I just knew there’d be cake, so I had to drop in for a quickie. And there’s Marmots!!! Happy day!
Sorry I’m late for the party. No home internet connection since yesterday 🙁
Have a GREAT day!

Happy Birthday, dear Indy!
My, what vacant, yet strangely crazed eyes you have, Indy. Had cake yet?
I’ve been practicing my Marilyn Monroe Happy Birthday song.
No cake yet. I’m just about to have some
lunch and then see what I might be capable of doing today. I will look forward to the singing later. 🙂
See y’all later, hope everyone has a great day.
Have a great day!

Wow, that’s one of the coolest things anyone has ever said to me. I should’ve given you Thank You Panties! 🙂 Thanks so much, Tracy.

We have been wondering how she is … If you see her tell we’re thinking of her and miss her a lot! 🙂

I love seeing your sprinkle of yellow flowers down a page, O. And that lady’s slipper on your site is amazing! Like a pretty pink bullfrog.
Can somebody hand me the tissue?? Don’t know yet what happened at the end, but that was shamefull!
Pekerman, the coach quits.

Sorry I didn’t see it, I switched off as soon as decision on PSO was reached. I still have fond memories of Youth -21 Championship.

You are projecting. 🙂
Thanks NDD!
How’s everyone doing? I just got back. We’ve been without power most of the day and it was approaching unbearable in the house.
Ahhhh wonderful AC back on. 🙂
WHat happened to your power? Another storm?
Hi SN. No it just went out. Around here that’s now unusual.
How’ve you been doing today?
I’ve been fighting off a nap with a trip to the mall with the kids. Now I’m just overdue for a big nap.
When you feel like a nap, you should take a nap.
Slack away. 🙂
