    …is where you can help:

    Ned Lamont For Senate

Unless BooMan has an ACT BLUE link here somewhere that leads to Ned?

I hate this ad. I hope that I’m as stupid as I think I am and that my hatred of this ad is misguided, but I really thing this one sucks cold shit.

One of the easiest tasks in the world, right now, is demonstrating that Joe Lieberman has been wrong about absolutely everything over the last five years. When he doesn’t show up for a vote or a debate, our county is better off than it would have been had he taken a little interest. Lieberman  is wrong about every single one of the important foreign policy questions of our day, and he uses his position in the United States Senate to question the patriotism of those who disagree with his  distilled, delusional pigshit. He has no shame. Don’t criticize his missed time in Congress. Point out that his missed time was just a blessed little break he took a break from fucking over our country. Point that out.

A few typos in that mess. Sorry. I probably won’t try much harder next time, but promise I’ll pretend I did.

This ad attacks the “experience” meme which Joe has been thowing around CT like a monkey pitching shit in a zoo cage.  Lamont’s team is directing the laser right onto the issue which Joe has touted as his greatest strength.  Take away Joe’s argument that he brings “experience” to the position and he is literally left with no reason to vote for him.

It is not just that he didn’t show up, it is the votes that he did not show up for.

Senator Dodd brought a funding matter to the Senate, Joe Blew him off and didn’t show up. The money Dodd was seeking would have paid for better armor for soldiers (Flak vests) and more armor for Military vehicles.

Joe didn’t show for work and the funding didn’t get passed on a very narrow vote.

      Another example from David Sirota:

“And – shocker – No Show Joe skipped what would have been a tie-breaking vote to crackdown on lobbying and pay-to-play abuses at the Department of Homeland Security.”

There is a pattern here of ducking votes that he could have made a positive difference in BUT would have gone against his self-interest of supporting the corrupt GOP and bush regime. So LIEberman just doesn’t show up and avoids voting against OUR interests.
