Getting ready for the “panhandle hook” heading your way? My son says Cle is supposed to get more than a foot by friday with single digit temps and wind.
We’ve had the snow and sleet part of the entertainment and are now getting serenaded by freezing rain but the previews promised a return of the sleet and snow. Can’t tell how much snow we’ll get because it depends on how the performers decide to share the stage,
Jim doesn’t have to get on the stage at all so he’s happy.
We’re getting snow already…there’s a half-inch out there. A far cry from the mix that was predicted to start this afternoon, and I’m afraid it will interfere with my Drinking Liberally plans for tonight. Sigh. At least I have plans to go walking later this am with friends, which should be nice in the snow.
I was going to say to make sure you had enough coffee and Doritos and Snickers bars, but in your case I hope you’re stocked up on quinoa, millet and fresh tomatoes.
I’m not a big fresh tomato fan unless they are in with a lot of other stuff like in tabouli or the black bean salad. I like them cooked in things though so we mostly use canned tomatoes (also being out here in the wilds we like to have things on hand that keep).
Hey, if you do the block twice a day, it’s a whole mile. 🙂 I’ve been totally lazy about walking in this cold weather, so I’m looking forward to getting back to it.
Yep, the big guy is still sick (although he made it through a half-day of school yesterday), and I think we’re going to be making another trip to the doctor today. Bummer.
Good Morning to all the ponders!!! I will be back to work on some designs and doing housework today. LOL I also need to do a podcast as I have not done one in awhile and I have plenty of information for one. LOL
Morning Miss Andi!!! I hope your power doesn’t go out but with the weather you are having….. I also meant to let you know I can help out with hosting at the pond if you need someone since I have a little bit more time on my hands lately. LOL
I’ve always had a habit of overdoing things. Just like when they say one or two beers is good for you. I figure what the heck a whole case will be great for me then. Funny thing, it feels like it is until the next day. 🙂
Now see if you were a good Southern wife you would be making lye soap, have a cow in the backyard for milk and the cat food I don’t know. Oh how us Southern men spoil our women. 🙂

One CB at school, one home today.
as long as it doesn’t snow too hard. It’s so quiet.
I like the crunchy noise the snow makes when you walk on it.

We still have the 2 dozen montana monster cookies so you can stop worrying.
(Actually we rarely have fresh tomatoes and we’re out of millet.)
Those would last two days in my house. And I could live on fresh tomatoes, but they suck down here. I haven’t had a decent tomato since I left Ohio.

Morning, SN.
Morning, CG. I wish I could get motivated to walk more than around a half-mile block with the dog. :/
We’re supposed to get cold rain for the next few days but nothing more serious.
The big guy is still sick, eh?

My big plan for the day is to have a pool with Jim and the dogs on exactly when the freezing rain and sleet will cause us to lose electricity.

Thanks refinish — we can always use some froggybottom help. I’ll go dig up the info in a little bit and email it to you.
Sounds great!!!! LOL
Running late … hope you all have a good day.
Found a couple of articles … FM would approve … 😉
Power Napping and
Afternoon Naps Protect Your Heart, Study Finds (and here’s the study abstract).
Good morning Olivia and everyone.
So now it scientifically proven about naps. Hah!
Hope everyone is fine today.
I saw that on the news yesterday and instantly thought of FM.
See what I’ve been preaching all this time. Now the movement starts. Naps for everyone!
How’re ya doing today SN?
ROTFLMAO!!! I don’t think they mean as many naps as you would recommend.
Hi Refinish.
I’ve always had a habit of overdoing things. Just like when they say one or two beers is good for you. I figure what the heck a whole case will be great for me then. Funny thing, it feels like it is until the next day. 🙂
How’re you doing today?
Doing pretty good. I am working on some new designs and here are the two latest ones.
My Vote Belongs To John Edwards
Vote Edwards 2008
They look great as usual!
Thank you!!!!
Your welcome.
I’m trying to decide whether to take a nap or start doing things around the house. Nap won.
See ya later.
sweet dreams!!!
I’m running out to spend Mr. Nature’s money irresponsibly on things like laundry detergent and cat food and milk. Same as usual.
Now see if you were a good Southern wife you would be making lye soap, have a cow in the backyard for milk and the cat food I don’t know. Oh how us Southern men spoil our women. 🙂
Helmet on!
ROTFLMAO!!!! You are asking for it this am FamilyMan.
I was hoping she was on her way out and didn’t see it. 🙂
Fortunately I was. So is that what happened to you, FM? Your mom washed your mouth out with lye soap? Could be that’s why you sleep all the time.
So did you get the cow milked and the soap made? 🙂
Come to think of it I might still have some frozen breastmilk from 1991. I’m sure the guys will love it on their cheerios.
I’ve got to ask. Why do you still have that?
Are you kidding? You never know when it’ll come in handy.
Hey FM – what are you getting me for Valentine’s Day?
What about a new butter churn?
Great idea, and functional too! BTW – I’m getting you the same as last year.
Yep if you give a gift make it work more than one way.
BTW Oh goody? 🙂
I’m actually surprised we didn’t lose it sooner.
I expect I’ll be gone for a good while since lots of people have lost power. See ya whenever.
See ya Andi. Your power will be back on in now time. Trust me. 🙂
