Yes it is — the leaves have finally started opening up. We had a good bit of rain yesterday and today so I’m expecting it to be really green by the weekend.
What especially caught my eye were the distinctly lit up leaves — I always like the effect which only happens in early spring when the leaves are still small and sparse.
Good morning, Andi!
It’s getting greener in the image!
We’re back down in the 40s this morning.

Hope the cool temps don’t last.
It has the spring glow — 🙂
… go Sens!
🙂
Good morning! Chilly here, but the skies are clearing (I think) after a baseball game in the rain last night.
Lots of green here as well, and CBtE had to cut the grass yesterday for the first time this season.
I’m sure that didn’t make CBtE happy but still — yay spring!
Ooh, aah. It’s hot and muggy here already. I brewed some mango iced tea.
I hate hot and muggy.
We’ve had thunderstorms and rain off and on all day but the sun came out when I went down to get the mail to give me a pretty driveway shot.
I’m hoping premature hot and muggy turns into thundery and blowy soon.
Do you get more storms in the spring or the summer?
I’ve been here 5 years now and I can count the number of thunderstorms on one hand. I don’t know why they don’t occur here, but I sure miss them.
That’s weird. There are certainly plenty of thunderstorms other places in the south. Where’s a meteorologist when you need one?!?
My eye is attracked to the emphemeral effect produced by the interplay of light and shadows over the road.
75F here (in the ND boonies) today, sunny, now mostly cloudy, farmers have started field work.
Thanks.
