Because it happened too early in May and I have this thing about leaving even a 17 year old home alone for two weeks without any support system here in town. I’m so overprotective. Plus, too much togetherness.
He would have been in meetings all day and you would have all that time to explore the city. And then at the end of the day, you’d both be too tired to day anything but have dinner, read a bit, and go to sleep. Perfection.
Yep on M’day — my mom, my older sister, her husband, Jim and I meeting my sister and her family, and my m-i-l in a town in between here and Cincy — makes it easier for us all to meetup.
I thought we would all be here, but my niece wants us all over at her house. So we’ll all load up and drive about an hour away. FMom and I were talking last night and we were saying it’s nice that the younger ones want to have everyone over at their houses now.
Unusually for me I have lots of stuff going on this weekend so won’t be around much but just thought I’d stop by and wish everybody a good weekend and a happy Mother’s Day.
