Liddy:  All he’s done is produce a certificate of live birth.  You can’t get a passport with that […]

I would have immediately come back with “So how did he get his U.S. passport?  He does travel internationally, yes?  Or are all those trips just complex and convincing hoaxes conjured up by the administration?”

What’s especially sad is that he still appears on the teevee spouting this BS.

While I don’t agree with the President on many issues of the day, I admire him for his patience & forbearance in the face of this kind of vitriol.

What was the conclusion of Rick Perlstein’s “Nixonland?”  That it’s not over yet?

Liddy, and Buchanan and Ailes are proof that Nixonland is still very much with us.  I know first hand.  My brother’s mother in law is a dyed-in-the-wool GOPer.  A few weeks ago, she was complaining about Rick Perry’s toll roads here in Texas and said, “nothing is going to be done to stop them until the Silent Majority gets off its hands and acts…”  It’s forever 1970 for this bunch.

But here’s the deal.  They’re oooooold.  And judging from G. Gordo’s and crazy’s Pat’s current ravings, they’ve drifting away from coherence at a rapid rate.

But that doesn’t matter because there’s a younger generation that came up right behind them that is just as bad as they are.

He should never have been let OUT of jail, you mean.

How is it a guy who works to subvert the government and goes to jail for it gets a megaphone? What kind of a sick place are we?

l think we have carter to thank for that:

On April 12, 1977, President Jimmy Carter commuted Liddy’s sentence to eight years, “in the interest of equity and fairness based on a comparison of Mr. Liddy’s sentence with those of all others convicted in Watergate related prosecutions”, leaving the fine in effect.[5] Carter’s commutation made Liddy eligible for parole as of July 9, 1977. Liddy was released on September 7, 1977 having served a total of four-and-a-half years of actual incarceration.

      wiki

not one of his better moves, eh.

had he not done so, it’s very likely gg’d have remained incarcerated  years longer, and his post-prison career likely would have been significantly less successful.

      who knows.

the fact that a national <cough> news <cough> organization such as msnbc, would rely on convicted felons as “experts” says a great deal more about the state of the msm and the mentality of the sheeple they pander to, than it does about the mental state of gg.
