I guess I must not understand the purpose of closed briefings.
Representative Michael McCaul of Texas, the ranking Republican on the House Homeland Security intelligence subcommittee, said in a telephone interview that administration officials had told lawmakers in closed briefings on Wednesday that there could be “a couple of more” Yemeni-trained suicide bombers on the loose, but that the source of the information “was not very reliable.”
Who needs a security clearance when we have Rep. Mike McCaul of Texas to tell us what we’ve missed? IOKIYAR.
It’s ridiculously out of the realm of possibility but I say take him out and shoot him. Maybe then the GOP animals would learn to keep their mouths shut.
Why are you advocating violence? I thought liberals were supposed to be peaceniks? What ever happened to “Give Peace a Chance…?” You are calling for another person’s murder! Disagree with a person’s policies, don’t advocate violence.
Peace out-
I was being sarcastic. In reality land, I think he should be forced out of his seat for screwing up security, but that’s nit going to happen. So I indulged my sarcastic side in my comment.
I do think the GOP are animals, but I don’t advocate their death.
But, can’t they be put under restraint? You know, for the good of all of us here in Democracy land!
Remove his security clearance! He may be the ranking Republican member on the sub-committee, but he would be denied access to classified hearings.
Don’t tell me. Let me guess.
Michael McCaul is a Republican.
With ambitions of being the next Pete Hoekstra.
And a firm believer that rules don’t apply to Republicans.
Oh, you said that in your last sentence.
And yes, there could be a couple more Yemeni suicide bombers on the loose. And Michael McCaul is a source of the information who was not very reliable. It’s the Republican version of Carmen SanDiego.
Perhaps, just perhaps, the purpose of a closed meeting is not always to hide what you are saying, but to relieve fallout about how you say it (something the traitor Rep-Tex[R] was not concerned with, I guess).
