They now slap a $40 000 fine–on the reporter–this is new. Saving turtles is illegal. Apparently BP has its own police and courts now–or maybe they have just bought US police and courts . . . it’s not really clear . . . except for the Coast Guard, which now reports directly to BP–cutting out DoD and PotUS and all that irrelevant chain of command stuff . . .
Health effects (illness) are showing up about 60 miles inland in Louisiana. Petroleum smell is showing up as far inland in Texas–too soon for medical cases . . .
something happened that is the test of Obama’s presidency, which is now on the line and he must do something about something within the next 24 hours in order to salvage his legacy. It has some bearing on the World Cup also and maybe some oil is involved, but I don’t think it spilled, I think it is just leaking somewhere, maybe on a soccer field (cancha).
