Professor Campos makes a funny:
Clarence Thomas knows that, as a practical matter, he, like the rest of the power elite that rules America, is largely above the law. Yet he also knows that he will be subjected to harsh criticism for flaunting his legal immunity. These two facts allow him to enjoy the delicious pleasure of exercising tremendous social privilege, while simultaneously complaining that he’s being persecuted by his political enemies. In other words, he gets to be an egregious scofflaw while at the same time claiming to be the victim of, to coin a phrase, a high-tech lynching.
It’s nice work if you can get it.
Sure is. And there’s not a damn thing any of us can do about it.
he’s an incompetent token who was selected because he was an incompetent token. he’s been a fucking MUTE on the SUPREME COURT, because he knows he doesn’t have the intellectual capacity to hang with the rest of the Supreme Court. There were plenty of QUALIFIED Black Republican judges that could have been chosen. That he was the ONLY one, is a damn lie. Plenty of intelligent, qualified Black REPUBLICAN judges, who could have gotten on the Supreme Court. They were not, though, BOUGHT AND PAID FOR STOOGES – which is the only reason Thomas was chosen for the court. A grown-assed man not knowing that he should have reported his wife’s income…in what world does one believe that LIE?
…and he knows he’ll get away with it, so why should any judge report their income and comply with the law?
O/T but Michael Moore did a little speech in Wisconsin today. Definitely worth watching…
Not a damn thing? How about those 2nd amendment solutions friends of his wife talk about?
I was just going to say the same thing. Not that I’m recommending or endorsing anything of the sort.
