I’ve seen some fine wanking in my time but not like this. The man from CNBC is a master. Here’s what he said about the loss of life in Japan yesterday:
In these tough economic times, isn’t it nice to know that calamitous natural disasters needn’t have an adverse affect on your investment portfolio? After the 8.9-magnitude earthquake in Japan failed to induce a market nosedive, CNBC’s Larry Kudlow expressed his relief in terms that seemed to appall even his fellow cheerleaders for capitalism: “The human toll here,” he declared, “looks to be much worse than the economic toll and we can be grateful for that.”
His co-host later said that the US stock markets were up because traders saw the devastation in Japan as good economic news for America. Well, for American stocks anyway.

Thank God for small favors, right?
Seems extreme. Even for him. People really are that heartless.

Speaking as someone with a number of dear Japanese friends, both in this country and in Japan, the only response I can muster to such a crass and inhuman statement as Kudlow’s is this: He deserves nothing less than to be held down while his testicles are smashed into bloody, mushy pulps by my steel toed boots.
It is cocksuckers like Kudlow who represent the underbelly of America that makes the world hate us. And to be honest, hate is a very strong word which I rarely use. But I hate fuckers like Kudlow. Hate them.
What an appalling, inhuman bastard. God forgive me for this but I seriously hope he gets caught up in some major disaster some day (not one made just for him, but you know, in a bit of serendipitous karma he just happens to be there) and comes to understand just how objectionable his comments were.
Now: will he be released from his contract?
Please someone, replace the man with a chicken and a blinking light.
it used to be this kind of talk was only acceptable in cloistered places, but now that the powers that be seemingly have no fear of retribution, it’s widely accepted that expressing the concept of greed is good is perfectly acceptable.
it’s the mantra of kudlow and his ilk; the people really running this country…the banksters and wall streeters who don’t give a two penny damn about anything but their own enrichment.
and you thought it was just a line from a movie?
