Assuming a deal is struck and actually passes both houses of Congress, how many House Republicans will have voted for it? Keep in mind that the minimum is about twenty-three.

91 Republicans voted for Bush’s TARP bill in 2008. How many of them are still in the House?
Sounds about right, I was thinking of ballparking it at 100.
BTW, why was boner just live on my tv right??? I continued to watch “Despicable Me” instead.
Anyone hear anything about “Cowboys and Aliens”. I might go see it this weekend. Even though I can glean from the title that it involves…I still kinda confused what the plot actually is about?
‘Cowboys & Aliens’ review: Saddle up
First vote before default….none. First vote after default…22 and they they will want more for the one more vote. Hostage all the way.
About 23.
Maybe 103 Republicans. That would let the Blue Dogs vote No and the Tea Party folks vote No because it’s an increase in the debt ceiling. And it would let the progressive Democrats vote against the cuts.
I don’t care. There are other things happening in the world and the farce that this debt ceiling issue has become has lost its hold on me. It’s the helicopter shot of OJ in the SUV again.
Every little detail about the current legislation shouldn’t be dominating the discussion.
