   This looks like it, given there would be several suspects.

   I strongly suspect CIA.  I believe there’s a new book out whose author had an Agency father (?) and he concludes same.  Just writing from glancing at it weeks ago in the bookstore.

   I’m more confident that she and JFK wouldn’t have dropped acid as alleged by Tim Leary.  Kennedy was not reckless and already was on quite a few doctor prescribed drugs for his various ailments.  Adding the powerful hallucinogen to the mix would have been a serious roll of the dice.

   Another subject for a screenplay who was connected to the assassination:  Dorothy Kilgallen, What’s My Line (CBS) game show panelist, reporter and columnist who was the only journalist to get a private interview with Jack Ruby, after which she said she had cracked the case and details would be forthcoming.  Soon thereafter found dead in her NY apt after another Sunday night appearance on WML.  Unusual circumstances and only inconclusive, speculative autopsy results.

   Then not long after her sudden death, her best friend dies.  Dorothy may well have entrusted her written notes on Ruby to her or, more likely,  simply told her what she’d discovered.

   Her sole biographer to date strongly implied she was murdered and that it couldn’t have been drug OD related.  There was a young, 25 years junior, reporter (or so he claimed) who befriended her — and become her lover — in her last year and was the last person seen in public with her before her death.  Friends of hers constantly told her they suspected his motives.  Quite a story.

   Will make a great screenplay. difficult to write because so complex but pls don’t “streamline” it by combining or omitting characters

   If you wrote one and it contained any truth whatsoever you wouldn’t be able to get it produced. Not in the U.S. you wouldn’t, and not in any of its major allies either. The truth is not only stranger than fiction, it is more dangerous, too. Bet on it.

       Do you really think that he could raise sufficient money to make a film accusing Obama of criminal-level collusion with the PermaGov financial system and/or the ever more rapidly growing technomedia-enforced security state?

       Look at what happened to Charlie Chaplin when he pushed the truth envelope. (And he was a superstar-level entertainer at the time. The superstar of his time, really.)

       Chaplin was accused of “un-American activities” as a suspected communist. J. Edgar Hoover, who had instructed the FBI to keep extensive secret files on him, tried to end his United States residency. FBI pressure on Chaplin grew after his 1942 campaign for a second European front in the war and reached a critical level in the late 1940s, when Congressional figures threatened to call him as a witness in hearings. This was never done, probably from fear of Chaplin’s ability to lampoon the investigators.[203] In February 2012 an MI5 file on Chaplin was opened to the public which revealed that the FBI had contacted the British secret service to provide them with information which would enable them to ban Chaplin from the US.[204] In particular, it wanted MI5 to find out where Chaplin was born and pursue suggestions that his real name was Israel Thornstein. MI5 searched, but to no avail. A suggestion that he “may have been born in France” also came to nothing.

       In 1952, Chaplin left the US for what was intended as a brief trip home to the United Kingdom for the London premiere of Limelight. Hoover learned of the trip and negotiated with the Immigration and Naturalization Service to revoke Chaplin’s re-entry permit. Chaplin decided not to re-enter the United States, writing: “Since the end of the last world war, I have been the object of lies and propaganda by powerful reactionary groups who, by their influence and by the aid of America’s yellow press, have created an unhealthy atmosphere in which liberal-minded individuals can be singled out and persecuted. Under these conditions I find it virtually impossible to continue my motion-picture work, and I have therefore given up my residence in the United States.”

       And that was before the PermaGov really got its act together.
