Up waaaaay too damn late — been cruising the Internets (actually looking for a recipe fairly close to my dad-in-law’s Grasshopper Pie recipe)…

you all could have warned me what daylight savings time was like. I don’t like it.
I believe I did – but who am I to point out how right I always am?
I was just thinking it was too dark to traipse through the woods, so you were probably eating a banana and feeding the dogs. Right? 🙂

It won’t be light enought to walk for at least 20 minutes. I’m thinking of buying a good LED headlamp so I can keep walking in the morning into the fall.
For some reason the ex got the boys handlamps for Christmas. Hmmm. It was hilarious – they went around all day reminding me of gynecologists.
Sounds like a good idea to me, though it would creep me out to be in dark woods, even with a headlamp.
The woods are really quiet when it’s dark — I find it very calm and soothing. Of course, it will put a slight pall on picture-taking.

The agreement with the dog was: no poop. He broke the agreement, therefore I am suing him.

You know that’s a good question. Probably because I can’t get my mind out of a third grade mind set. 🙂
So do you have it all mapped out what you’re going to say to the lawyer?
I said most of it on the phone already when they agreed to take the case. It’s one of those cases where you don’t pay unless you win, then they take a percentage of the damages. So they have to be damn sure you’re going to win before they take the case.
I have her ER photos, the driver’s info., some of the medical bills that have come in already, etc.. They’ll go from there. Still it’s a world I’ve never been in before.
Do yoga pants stike you as the right thing to wear?
I know how you feel. I know nothing about lawyers.

They’re sort of glorified sweat clothes. Just kidding about them.

Good Morning everyone. We are finally getting some much needed rain. Of course Bette is scared to death of the thu8nder and is sitting on my feet. I woke late as I took to vicadon at about 3 am. LOL My back is back where it was a week ago so I guess I will set a doctors appointment and a chiro appointment.

The funny thing is I’m so used to hitting the robo rater now that I use it more for getting to the top of the page fast. I mean it’s a given anyone that comes into the cafe is going to get 4’s. I really have to watch myself outside of the cafe because it has become so automatic with hitting it.
Get audacity, which is a free program, and record and the post the podcast. Make sure you export the show as a mp3 to your computer.

RF I saw what you said about Skype and the funny thing is yesterday I was looking for a telephone program for my computer. I don’t make hardly any calls, but I wanted something more along the lines of where I could answer my telephone from my computer. Does Skype do that?
I don’t know. I just have a cell phone as far as phones go. LOL
The first comptuer I bought had a phone program on it and it was really pretty good. I looked yesterday on the net, but most are the call anywhere in the world for next to nothing programs. I just want a simple phone program for the computer. More research.
One day I might buy a cell. 🙂

Been sending out resumes, wandering around the streets. Trying to make sense of things in an insane world. I want to scream out… “IS EVERYONE FUCKING CRAZY!?!?!” but they lock up people who do that.
So back to posting resumes, filling out applications, taking applications to stores, checking on applications and resumes… refilling em out.
Gotta get DanDan registered for school. Both kids are GROUNDED because they’ve been total buttmunches lately.
Tonight is Wayne’s big game. The championship hockey game. Amazed they made it to this level. Last game, they only had FIVE guys show up. Which as Olivia knows means NO SHIFT CHANGE except one guy at a time. Wayne got two goals in that one. He’s like poetry on roller blades. Psst Olivia he reminds me of Ulf Dahlen. 🙂
Raining here near Portland. Murrayhill Little Leaguers did us proud. That’s my neighborhood btw.

he was very SORE… he was sucking air and his legs were killing him. The entire tea.. er five guys were hurtin but they won.
They would have been more tired, more hurt had they lost 🙂
He just turned 48 but still skates like he’s in his mid 20’s. There are two other guys on the the team that are in their 20’s and they like playing with Wayne. One of them was gone though last game.
This is roller hockey though. Wayne played ice hockey since he was 3 till he was about 40. There wasn’t any near by ice rink so he adapted to roller hockey. Much more available…
But it is beautiful to watch him skate. The tap ins he does are magical. And he still has a wicked slap shot and wrist shot.

when I was playing ultimate, I was the only female on the coed team for a few of the games, and it was awful b/c w/ no substitute I had to play the entire game. It’s part of the reason why I wasn’t as excited to go back and play w/ that team this year. It just did me in … so I can definitely relate to the sore and sucking air! 🙂
