About 12 years ago, I was riding the bus and this guy got on there. He sat near me and started talking about me, but not to me. Just going on about how hot he thought I was. Yuck. He then leaned over and started telling me about all the things he could do for me. Never asked my name or anything about me. He then said the dumbest thing, “If you go out to with me, I’ll take you out to a nice steak and lobster dinner, then we’d go to a hot club on the Strip, then head out to the beach.” My stop was coming up, so I stood up, looked back at him and said, “In what car?” The whole sector starting laughing. He got pissy, “Who do you think you are? You ain’t all that? You’d be lucky if someone wanted to go out with your fat ass.” I just looked at him, shook my head and got off the bus. As the doors closed, he yelled out, “So do you want to go out with me or not?”

I had one guy hitting on me while I was filling up gas. I must have been looking fly in my paint tattered jeans, dirty dreads and compost dirtied t-shirt. I don’t even think I had bathed for 3 days at that point–I know I had an aroma. But brother-man kept chatting me up with my frickin’ kids in the car. I met her when I was living in Ca. She is a good woman and a hard worker. It just seems maybe things are piling up too much and the strain is more than she can handle. NOt trying to slam her but there is a time to step back and realize when you have reached a point you are no longer in control.
Yes. It is admirable to see people like her that are facing a fairly imminent death still take on challenges and want to serve in office. So it is easy to have sympathy for her–she has been through a number of stressful political situations the last year or so that would be exhausting for a healthy person but must be difficult for her. But at some point she might cause more damage than good. Has she explained what happened?
She hasn’t explained to my knowledge. I wish her the best as always but think it might be a sign that she needs to step aside.
