Looks as if it’s set to warm up here in the city today. Alas, I’m set to take up temporary digs without even a single internet available. Will have to scope out the public possibilities.
Definitely looking forward to the weekend, although it’s set to rain through all of it.
Picture was taken about an hour after sunrise but on a day with very heavy frost so that made the light very nice.
Sure hope you can find some some internet access as we will really miss you otherwise. Is your temporary location back in the catskills or still in the city?
Still in the city, alas — but I could use a few days’ actual rest before heading into the mountains. Plus, I’m doing a friend a favor.
We’re set to have rather nasty weather here too, into early next week — at which time Catskills temperatures will dip precipitously.
My hostess there isn’t expecting me until then, so all should work out well.
I’m OL looking at vehicles currently.

Won’t that be fun! I’ll have a different view than before, as well — much more expansive, with different light/natural patterns & not so much errant birdshit. My old camera awaits in rural storage. Not sure where the internets will be, yet — but desire will prevail, as usual.

Work week went on and on but is at last coming to and end.
Currently the pack and I are moping because the weather is really crappy. I’m going to give another few minutes and decide if I want to mess with sopping wet dogs or not.
I do sympathize with your mope & hope you see a break between the raindrops wide enough for a good trek.

I’ll certainly be thinking of you when digging feverishly through my stored stuff in search of the cam — whenever that may be. I sure wish folks would reply to my requests for info immediately at Craig’s List. It’s as if they post & then return to the Mothership for departure.
In any case, I’m afraid real life beckons. Much to do today before I can finally collapse in yonder tenement bed to baby myself & my wads of mucus.

And I doubt it will do it. Had the problem once before – thinking back, I think it simply disappeared when I installed Firefox the first time. Maybe I should re-install Firefox?

I have more or less recovered from my 5 1/2 hour commute on Wednesday. Unfortunately it’s still mighty freakin’ cold up here in the land of liquid sunshine, and while today’s commute wasn’t too bad, there are still a lot of side roads covered with ice.

LOL, dada-O! When I saw that 3 ft, I shuddered, wondering where you were going to find space to put it!
We went from 52 yesterday to a meager “high” of about 16 today and back into the deep freeze… supposedly we have 6-8″ on the way for Sat/Sun and perhaps Monday… maybe I’ll finally get the holly berries in the snow pics I’ve been wanting to take all winter! Stay tuned… thought I’d get em last weekend and was sorely disappointed.
You and Bu stay warm this weekend and don’t overdo it! Stocking up on groceries tonight after work, and planning on staying in all weekend and whipping up a batch of my usual 4 alarm chili to keep us warm for the next few days….
Poor d’s buried out there and we were going to have to send out a shovelling crew to get him out … 🙂

Decided to stay home and send the spouse up to take in the last day of MacWorld…was starting to feel a bit peopled out. Plus, it gave me a chance to get in some major sleeping in :), and I even accomplished a few things — got a new clock radio set up, changed the sheets on the bed, and now I’m about to go tackle a few things in the kitchen and make my menus for next week so I can do my shopping list for the weekend. Time to get ourselves really back on track health-wise.
Will be back later with the Random 10…oh, that’s right, I’ve got some new CDs I’ve got to rip too!
