I guess this size is better– or does it matter when you use the thumbnails??
If you use the thumbnail I guess it can be any size you want it to for enlargement. If you’re posting straight to the cafe without thumb then no more than width=400.
I’ll trade you a beach for a little grey clouded sky right now. It looks great down there.

Yes definitely. São Paulo is 8 hour flight from Atlanta and I am a short 45 minute flight from there. Piece of cake. I’d love to meet the Boo tribe. I am really psyched about being a part of this community– have been reading and admiring the Booman for some time now.

I’ve been here for a little over a year. Just about everything I learned for posting on the net has come from someone here. I don’t think you could have found a better place and smarter people (me excluded) to be around.

I just got a letter telling me I haver to vacate the premises by 02/10/2007 as the new owners are going to move into this side. I of course did not get the letter last week as the weatherw as so bad. but because of the date stamp on it they fulfilled the 30 day notice. I am so screwed.
Hell Refinish that is just around the corner. What are you going to do?
I have no idea. I do not have the money to move. I have no place to move to. I guess I will find homes for the dogs and live in the car for awhile.
This really does suck! It would seem they could have given you more notice than this.
Can you get an extersion from them until you find a place?
I don’t know. Just the week before the letter, the ne owners brother told me they would give me at least 2 months notice. I am in shock and don’t know what to do.
I think first I would call the owner or his brother and find out what’s going on. What does you’re lease say?
Then tomorrow morning I’d start looking for a new place. Heck if you’ve got a paper or use the net to start looking. Also check out some space rental places just incase you have to store some stuff.

I would second what the others have said and try to talk to the owners — also, are there any community grps that could help w/ this? What about friends — any that could take you in temporarily while searching, or even the diva dogs?

I am the camera– most of these are shot with my 6×7 Pentax in Europe where I traveled for many years. I especially love black and white work. I spend as much time as I can in the darkroom.
I created the blog, but hired some technical help to get it running right. At this point I am doing all of the writing but I’m looking for some more contributors. I have had it up and running for about 6 months– just kind of figuring out the lay of the land. I have had a few links at various big blogs (particularly Crooks and Liars) and I can’t believe the traffic I get when that happens. I have just recently started cross-posting to other blogs (had a couple here last week) which has helped a bunch. Thanks for looking.
Now that I know you’re there, I’ll be dropping by. It’s a good looking site.

I have been very fortunate to have great teachers. Professionally, I spent my whole career in front of the camera but I pestered every cinematographer I worked with over the years for advice and many of them were nice enough to help me. I have had a bunch of exhibitions around the world and a some of my work has miraculously found its way into some nice collections, but I am actually a rank amateur.
I can understand how your work could find its way in to collectioins. You’ve got an excellent eye and photo’s.
I’m so glad you decided to join us. There are many other excellent photogs here.
That is one of the first things I noticed about the blog. My two favorite things: Politics and Photography. When I lived in LA I was a member of a darkroom collective — I really miss hanging out with photographers– looks like this is the place. Thanks for the kind words of encouragement– hope I can measure up. Olivia and Knucklehead set the bar pretty high. hehe
I’m not much of a photog and I just enjoy all the looking. Your addition to the pot just makes the stew that much better.

We’ve got plenty of backwoods here, but no canals or glades. So I figure your good ol’boy is slightly different from mine.

I just tried to do a big explaination, but didn’t sound right. Short version.
In Cafe – Always 4’s
Outside Cafe – 4 = Good
1 or 0 = Bad
It appears the point system here isn’t as big of a thing as it is at other sites.

All are invited to Hockeytown to attend a game here. I worked as an usher for 3 seasons (two championships) and I saw a lot, but I never smelled the rotten cheese/poopy diaper combination – until I became a mother.

Things are good FM. It’s the start of a new semester, so not many papers to grade right now.
Andrew is great. He’s had a bit of a stomach bug for the past few days, but nothing serious.
How are George and the FM family?
We’re all doing fine.
So is Andrew all over the bug, or just has a little left?
There is just a tiny bit of that bug left. We might just take him to the doctor tomorrow.
Poor little guy. I hope he gets to feeling completely better.
