The falsehoods Trump and his congressional sycophants spread became so consequential that they are testing the limits of free speech.

This time around, there will be a real trial, and it won’t be just the president’s actions under scrutiny.

His insurrection leaves us better prepared to confront and smash the fascists like our grandparents did in the 1940s.
