oops, replied to myself instead of to you in my second reply. By sure not to miss it…it contains more great poetry..and a typo…
God is great God is good
but is (s)he a woman or a dude?
Is (s)he listening when to you I say
“go fu…I mean, take care of yourself,
and have a nice day?”

talk about subversive… that Bood has me going around all day talking to myself in verse, if not in strict limerick form. Thank Dog he hasnt posted some yet today as Im signing out to go paint the house before my wife leads me straight to St. Peter’s gate!
At the end of his life, just before he entered bliss, Buddha said good-bye to his right-hand man, Milarepa…
“It’s off to Paradise for me,” said the Buddha.
“Wait, a minute, don’t go so fast,” said Milarepa. “You must leave the teaching so others can follow.”
“What’s the point?” said Buddha. “No one would understand.”
“You must leave the teaching on the chance that one might understand.”
“OK, maybe you’re right. I’ll leave the teaching with you, and you give it to them. Maybe one might understand.”
And so the teaching was left, and communicating the teaching became part of Buddhism, and also part of the Sangha… the promises… I shall not enter Paradise while there is still one sentient being who still suffers.
(This is the true story as I read it and as it was taught to me, and as I understood it… but then again, it may not be true, not correct and not historical.

Yes. Buddha held no faith in the words or thoughts of humans, even his own, apparently.
“All knowledge is nothing more than the illusions of magicians.”
God is love
Love is blind
Ray Charles is blind
Therefore, Ray Charles is God
____________
I think yours is little better.
Ray Charles IS God. So is Al Green, so is Aretha Franklin, so is Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, The 5 Blind Boys from Alabama, George Jones, etc.
Music is one of the evidences of God on earth.
Thanks for your kind words.
oh, but you forgot to insert the “a” before “little better” in your last sentence. HAHA
Peace, brother.
Dog is God spelled backwards
therefore
a dog runninbg backwards
is God.
Yours is A little better.

Guess who said that?
