we have a bunch of pets in the house, including 3 cats, a dog, a parrot and a ferret.
My favorite was the white dove my wife found along side of the road. It had likely lost its way after taking part in a wedding celebration or something.
The co-cooooo sound it made took me back to do nothing childhood summer mornings, when there would be one and sometimes two or three sitting on the telephone line co-coooooing in the fog in that finely pitched two notes of the dove.
Yes, the white dove was my favorite until the fateful day she was let out of her cage and someone had mistakenly left the ferret out of cage at the same time.
