As some of you may recall, University of Michigan Professor and Middle East expert Juan Cole (whose work I have been pimping shamelessly here for the past few months) has agreed to be interviewed by me. Well, now is the time!
I am presently in Ann Arbor and will be interviewing Prof. Cole on campus Thursday. I will not necessarily be able to ask all suggested questions but I encourage you to let me know your thoughts.
I will be posting the interview as a diary sometime this weekend, so please keep a lookout for it!

We continue to hear reports of looting in the wake of the levee flooding and hurricane aftermath… being a Professor of History and expert in the Middle East, how does he personally feel about the looting of the mosques and museums – most ancient documents and artifacts?
“Spoils of war”? Or looters? Or is it an attempt to do away with history and culture as the Nazi’s did during WW2?
Thank you
Do we need a timeline for withdrawl from Iraq? Does it matter if we pull out now or ten years from now, will the outcome not be the same?
