I remember a nightmare I had several years ago that kept repeating itself night after night. This is what came to mind when I read her diary of today.
Once I corrected the problem that made that nightmare occur, of course not knowing it was the real problem, but knowing it was the real problem after I corrected the life style…I never had that nightmare ever again.
That is only one of my nightmares that thankfully got corrected and swept away forevermore. I amsure her nightmare will always be a reality for her in her memory. Mine has faded somewhat but always there to remind me not to make that same mistake in my life ever again.
Hers, I am afraid, will always be there for her to live, sad to say.
CI, I am trying to stay with her in all of this that is going on. I hope I can see things in a different view as to what is being pushed down my throat in our press. Thanks. I am actually glad it wored, the link! I had to really work onit to get it to come out. See there an old dog can learn new tricks…:o)
Thanks for linking to this blog. I’m assuming that Riverbend is a Sunni. I found her post called “The Raid” to be incredibly chilling. Was anyone else compelled to think of “The Diary of Anne Frank.”
She called the Iraqi Security Force troopers who raided her house and neighborhood mercenaries. If this label doesn’t illuminate the fact that there is a civil war beginning, I can’t fathom what would.
George Bush will surely roast for eternity (damn I wish I believed there was a hell) for his crimes against both the American and Iraqi people.
A philosopher once said that we bear our citizenship in a particular country as a burden in our attempts to actualize our humanity. Bush has made that burden almost unbearable.

A nightmare is when people too busy with themselves, let a group of thugs take control….that hits pretty close to home ; )
