I think this is a NYC automat so I’ll bet the blintzes are good.
That looks really good…now I want crepes with baked apples for breakfast.
And there’s a light dusting of anow outside this morning.
It’s in the twenties here but it’s supposed to be in the 60s tomorrow (but only for one day).
I actually don’t like things like blintzes or pancakes for breakfast — too heavy — but I think they make great dinners.
They make a fabulous addition to a holiday brunch!!! There is a hotel in SF on Sutter Street That has the best holiday brunch. They have everything imaginale for breaksfast items and then a full gourmet luncheon combined as their brunch buffett. I wish I could remember the name of the hotel. LOL
Now I want crepes smothered in butter and black raspberry preserves :o)
I’ve preserved two jars just for me which is easy since I’m the only one who likes black raspberry. I usually get a couple to store away because you can’t find it all year round.

Good morning Andi. Unfortunately, my dogs are used to breakfast at six, so I am at no risk of missing the sunrise. We are all such odd creatures of habit. The dogs feel like ‘hey we have to stick to the routine’ I tried to stay in bed just this once. hah!
Never do something with a dog that you don’t want to make a habit of.
If I could manage to sleep past 5, I’m sure my dogs would do the same to me. Since I’m up, the insisting it’s time to eat is all based on what I do. [[ she’s started the coffee, she’s gone over to the computer, she’s gotten up from the computer to go get some coffee — BREAKFAST!!! ]]
Okay so I take it by the she refrences you are a female? LOL Here I have been thinking you were male. I guess I have egg on my face. ROTFLMAO!!!!!
You must have missed the cafe where I confessed that I had always thought Street Kid was a man so you’re aren’t alone in misjudging — I think this figuring out of gender is interesting — it says a lot about socialization.
BTW, something you must have missed is that JimF, who posts in cafe irregularly, is my husband.
LOL Well you both have fabulous sense of humor and I enjoy you so much as people the other doesn’t matter. LOL I guess like minds draw to each other and we assign gender by names or screen names without thinking. LOL
I think it was our bonding over male athletes in lycra and spandex that did it — you unconsciously projected yourself on me when you saw that I shared your highly refined and discerning tastes. 🙂

Heh. We have a 5:30 AM shih-tzu alarm clock. Great during the week when I have to get up, not so great on the weekend.

Good morning everyone!!! Taking today off as I still have a slight dulll ache behind the eye and feeling way sluggish. Will spend some time working on some designs and getting house work done and sleeping.
I also have a puppy alarm clock that goes off way early. Once I feed them they go back to sleep. LOL
