Good morning Andi and all,
Safely back and quite exhausted. Can’t believe I’m going in today. Luggage lost, but apparently tracked.
Trying to take off tomorrow.
Madness, isn’t it. But getting some processes started today should give better peace of mind + an intern arrived last week and I need to get him started. Then some rest.
Boring weather here today as well; mild but showers.
It is fabulous as always but I am going into work late as I have some thing to take care of. LOL I did finally answer your question about the details of yesterday. LOL
If there was a way to do it, I would trade our drippy weather for your drippy nose. We’ll probably be over 7 inches of rain (since wed.) by the end of the day, some areas nearby are heading toward 9.
Everything will be reversed soon. While we’ve been enjoying winter down here, soon we’ll have terrible heat/humidity and mosquitoes. The joy of summer. 🙂
Good morning from the great state of TN. It is fixing to rain here too. As if we needed more of it. I need to mow the grass, but it is way to wet from all the rest of the rain. We got rain early yesterday morning too. refinish, I hope you get much rain to help with the fires. Not good!
The cats are up and at ’em this morning as usual. They have eaten and are in the windows getting the fresh air they love. They better get all that air for I am gonna have to shut the windows when it starts to rain and I leave for work.
Spring is alive and doing well here. Hope ya all do very well today…typical Monday morning…yak…hugs to all.
Well, FM, I suppose you are right with the excuse…:o) but if I do not get it mowed, I willahve to hire the goats….:o) or cows, or something other than a mower to do the job..:o) Can not allow it to get ahead of me…Hugs…good to see ya up and at the day.
Morning Brenda, we don’t quite have that Spring yet, but I found our first crocus yesterday, and the witch hazel has been blooming now really loud (it is SO yellow) for about a week.
Hope everyone’s day goes well, especially for a Monday.
I have to finally clean – ugh. I hate being domestic.
We have had the Easter flowers blooming here for at least two weeks now. They grow wild along the road and it is good to see them. I think they call them daffadils or something such as that…I just call them Easter flowers..
Oh Andif, that is great! Thanks so much. I so look forward to your sunrises. Thanks and hugs…btw, doesn’t it look gret to see the sun at the end of the road??? :o) Thank you so much…
Well, that is one way to look at it an dno pun intended..:o) Anyhow, I just love your pictures! I look forward to them..I really do. Makes my heart happy. NO matter what my day is looking I can picture your pictures and still feel joy. Thanks so much for your efforts and hugs…Andif….
Another hot and dry day on tap here. We haven’t had any significant rain in months and the grass isn’t greening up like it should be this time of year.
Mr. Nature is safely settled in Japan for the week and his luggage arrived with him, breaking the string of lost luggage at 4 in a row.
I am well and happy, FM. The boys will be leaving for school soon and then it’s just me and the cats for the day. I have lots of phone calls to make though and a report to write.
I hear you on the pine cones. I wish there was a market for them, because I’d be wealthy.
SN, I am glad he arrived safe and sound too….even the luggage…that is always my worry when I fly…I try to carry on a small piece with just a few things like underwear so I am not caught short…one just never knows…:o)
He crammed an extra pair of boxers and a clean shirt into his briefcase just it case. 🙂 Good morning, Brenda. You always cheer me up in the morning.
Hey SN, listen to this one! I have this one cat that has figured out how to open a door in the bathroom that allows him to get into whre the towels are. He gets in there and hide. I have had to rewash the towels more than once this w/e. I do not know what to do! Hows come they are smarter than me??!!! :o) not fair!!!!:o)
Oh, I hate when that happens. You step out of the shower, lift the clean towel to dry your face and then realize there are cat hairs all over your face. Ick. You know they just love those private soft places to sleep.
I’ve always felt cheated at my lack of a nickname, and mine just keeps getting better and better. 🙂
No, he didn’t get an international cell phone. He’s one of those people that has to “look into it” for a few months first. But with trips to India and Mexico in the next couple of months, I might make him.
Well, folks, I hve to get one more cup of java down to the boiler and then get ready for work. I have a few more newspapers to wade through too. The day must go on. Gotta make ppl well again….hugs to all and have a safe and wonderful day…to all that are under the weather, please get to feeling better…and to all that have rain today, hope it doesnt turn out to be bad storms….ya know that time of the year is upon us. Try to catch ya all to night…Have a great day….loveya lots…..
George makes me so mad sometimes. When the grass is wet he won’t go out on it in the morning. I know he has to use the bathroom, but he refuses to step on wet grass. So I have to pick him up, carry him out to the middle of the yard, and wait for him to get through. Then he’ll just stand there waiting for me to pick him up and put him back on the patio. When it’s dry he never does this. I have such a whuss dog sometimes.
I’ve got to get started doing to things around here. It’s not too long before the first nap of the day. 🙂
Everybody have a good one and I’ll check in later.
Supposed to be a fairly decent day weather wise around here — will go out and do something fun after my doctor’s appointment. The “booty” is healing very well; I am quite pleased. 🙂
Got about three hours to relax before I have to head out the door, so think I’ll go nap for a bit…
Good morning all. We’re finally supposed to have some calm weather. Just in time for the start of weather alertness week — where we practice for the “upcoming” tornado season. Guess it started a little early this year.
Good morning all.
More rain and thunderstorms today. But tomorrow is actually supposed to be sunny.
Good Morning!!!! It’s raining here but I am happy about it since we need the rain so much.
Good morning refinish.
It’s too bad the rain isn’t transferable because we definitely do not need any more.
We are still having wild fires and a total burn ban for the entire state. We are going to be hurting this summer most likely.
Good morning Andi and all,
Safely back and quite exhausted. Can’t believe I’m going in today. Luggage lost, but apparently tracked.
Trying to take off tomorrow.
Welcome home!!!! Glad you made it and hopefully your luggae will be back with you before your next trip. LOL I cannot believe you are going in either.
Madness, isn’t it. But getting some processes started today should give better peace of mind + an intern arrived last week and I need to get him started. Then some rest.
Boring weather here today as well; mild but showers.
You are more dedicated than me. I would be calling the intern and saying I’ll see you tomorrow take a day off. LOL
Hi Ask. I’m glad you are back in one piece. Sorry about the luggage but better it had trouble getting back than you.
Don’t work too hard.
I can’t believe you have to go in today either. I hope it’s a short day!
A designer who quit doing political designs sent me this art work and I added the wording. Thought the cafe would appreciate it. LOL
The divia dogs are insulted and insist you change the t-shirt to be about the rabid chipmunks of war.
ROTFLMAO!!!! They say they are so above him that nothing he does could tarnish them… only make their life more difficult.
Good Morning Andi, Refinish, CG, and Ask.
Did I miss anyone?
Ask glad to see you home and safe.
How is everyone this morning?
Morning FamilyMan!!!
Morning Refinish. I won’t even ask how your morning is.
You’re always awake, chipper, and bouncing off the walls. 🙂
It is fabulous as always but I am going into work late as I have some thing to take care of. LOL I did finally answer your question about the details of yesterday. LOL
Great I’ll go back and read that.
It’s another soggy day here…and I have the sniffles. Ick. I have no patience for being sick.
Hope you get to feeling better. Wished I could recommend something, but I usually have to just try and get through it when I have them.
Thanks, FM. I started the echinacea last night…I hope it’s gone by tomorrow. I’m too busy this week to be sick.
Unfortunately, those little viruses don’t look at it that way. You take care of yourself.
If there was a way to do it, I would trade our drippy weather for your drippy nose. We’ll probably be over 7 inches of rain (since wed.) by the end of the day, some areas nearby are heading toward 9.
Look at the bright side; at least you can look forward to a bumper crop of mosquitoes.
When we got a break in the rain last night, we heard our first spring peepers — can mosquitoes be far behind?
And with spring peepers up north, can the first giant palmetto bug (cockroach)crawling up my bedroom wall be far behind?
Everything will be reversed soon. While we’ve been enjoying winter down here, soon we’ll have terrible heat/humidity and mosquitoes. The joy of summer. 🙂
You call that the bright side of life!!! good heavens, Hon, that is misery!!!! I am very sure we will have them here too…bumper crop and all..
“Morning, all. Wish I were still asleep (it’s my Spring break), but the livestock don’t understand why breakfast isn’t ready at 5:30 like usual.
We’ve got rain, too – but it’s supposed to be 66 today! Then maybe snow tomorrow and back to the 30’s. I’m tired of winter!
Morning Kidspeak.
One nice thing about getting up early when you don’t have to go to work is that you can look forward to taking a nap later.
Enjoy the spring weather!

Spring is alive and doing well here. Hope ya all do very well today…typical Monday morning…yak…hugs to all.
Morning Brenda. We’re expecting rain down here too. I’m looking forward to it though. Another excuse not to do the yard. 🙂
Well, FM, I suppose you are right with the excuse…:o) but if I do not get it mowed, I willahve to hire the goats….:o) or cows, or something other than a mower to do the job..:o) Can not allow it to get ahead of me…Hugs…good to see ya up and at the day.
Goats? 🙂 Yea goats I need a bunch of those, but I don’t think they eat pine cones. Any excuse at all is good enough for me not to do the lawn.
Hope your day goes good Brenda and Hugs back at ya.

Good morning Brenda. I have a new dawn picture for you (from Saturday).
Oh Andif, that is great! Thanks so much. I so look forward to your sunrises. Thanks and hugs…btw, doesn’t it look gret to see the sun at the end of the road??? :o) Thank you so much…
…even your dawn ones too…:o)
I take dawn pictures so you won’t have to get up early in order to see them.

Mr. Nature is safely settled in Japan for the week and his luggage arrived with him, breaking the string of lost luggage at 4 in a row.
SN, why don’t I do my big puff series and blow you some of our rain. Actually we can do without some for a while. Has been very wet so far here.
Morning SN. Happy to hear Mr. Nature made it there safe and sound. How are you today?
I am well and happy, FM. The boys will be leaving for school soon and then it’s just me and the cats for the day. I have lots of phone calls to make though and a report to write.

Get teh child prrofers and put them on the cabinets. animals canm not open them. LOL
I think I missed saying good morning to you.
Remember, it’s still too wet to do yard work in Indiana, so you are still off the hook for doing yours.
Good morning. How’s the FBC luscious hootchie today?
I forgot to ask — did he get an international cell phone for this trip?
I’ve always felt cheated at my lack of a nickname, and mine just keeps getting better and better. 🙂
No, he didn’t get an international cell phone. He’s one of those people that has to “look into it” for a few months first. But with trips to India and Mexico in the next couple of months, I might make him.
Glad he made it safe with his luggage. I guess this time the luggage will get lost on the way home. LOL
I hope you feel better soon.

Good morning all. We’re finally supposed to have some calm weather. Just in time for the start of weather alertness week — where we practice for the “upcoming” tornado season. Guess it started a little early this year.
Looks like they’ll have to change weather alertness week to February; perhaps knocking “frozen food week” back a couple of months.
If winters stay so warm we might not have a need for frozen food — fresh food available all year.
