One thing I’ve noticed is that when our dogs sleep near each other, they always sleep in the same direction. I have never seen them sleep head to head or butt to butt.
the Spoiled One. He requires something soft to sleep on, and will make due with whatever is available at the time (in this case, the couch). He also has a built-in nightcap
Recent stray that’s come to us likes to sleep on the porch glider (now that I’ve placed two throw rugs on it to cushion her from the wood) stretched out with her chin resting on the arm.
Or she likes to sleep curled up in a nylon and metal beach chair that has another throw rug placed on it to keep her warm enough.
Or she likes to sprawl on her back, propped up against the sliding glass door, so that we can admire her underside in passing.
Earlier today, Luna helped me put Greens Party flyers in letter boxes. Apparently it was exhausting.
This is Cat. One of the few times she isn’t asleep.

What I’d give to be able to sleep like that. 🙂

Aren’t beagles fun Manee!!
Bud loves his Beagle cousins but he’s a proud Basset Hound 🙂
Hi Bud
pet pet
We’ll blame the mistaken identity on Henry’s poor 15 year old eyesight. But of course the nose still works very well.
that it looks like a dog with no eyes. Sorta of the blind cave newt basset hound look going on.
Bu’s not to picky about soft, but this time of year, the sun’s very important
Peace

You’re right, she likes to sleep a lot.
