Well, I certainly didn’t mean to exclude anyone, but the later it gets here, the more chance there is that us Westerners are the only ones still awake (apart from insomniacs and the like).
Just back from a Little League coaches’ meeting, setting up for Saturday’s scheduled start of the season (if it doesn’t keep raining). Venue was a favorite local dive called the Dutch Goose. As the invitation to the meeting said, “If you don’t know what or where the Dutch Goose is, you’re in trouble.”
The only problem with the Goose is that it still attracts the same crowd it did 40 years ago. Not the same demographic, the same people. Now they bring their grandchildren.
Thunderstorms have left the area, I’ve had my dinner (soup and salad at Sweet Tomatoes), and settled in for the night…now I just need to get the spouse out here to watch tonight’s “Countdown”…
Great pic there, Mythmother and I really like the sentiment expressed there as well. Did you happen to catch Countdown tonight? Keith had a story about a guy who got drunk (presumably… why else would one do this?) on St. Patrick’s day and was caught peeing into a car’s gas tank … only it was a marked police car. DOH! Now, where did that come from??? Hehe.
Gotta love Keith… it’s the one sacred hour of TV in our house … the only news show allowed except for The Daily Show and Real Time of course. He’s getting snarkier all the time, and we’re loving it!
Enough rambling… time for bed, and best to you and yours over there on the left coast.
Did not see not see KO since I had to work last night. Damn! Sorry I missed it but thanks for the recap. KO, JS, and BM are also standard fare around our house.
Hop on, froggies. This froggy’s hoppin’ to bed.
It’s up to us to keep the party going while all the easterners are asleep.
Some midcoasters are awake (at least for a while).

So, how are you doing Mary?

and that made you feel …?
Why, post-geriatric again, of course….
You haven’t missed much tonight. It’s been a quiet night. Although Omir finally got a good look at the birthday cake Olivia brought for him 🙂
Checking out the final game of the World Baseball Classic.
Japan still winning?
Yep, but it’s now 6-5 going into the top of the 9th.
We had two good hailstorms, thunder, lightning, and lots of rain here in the central left coast.

We only heard one crack of thunder in the mid-Peninsula, and at around 4:30 we had a spectactular rainbow outside the office window.
I want to live
