I’ve got one more beef — you are really going to regret asking my help, I just know it — the headings w/ that template are images, instead of just text, and I had to guess at what the gif might be called b/c it wasn’t on the template. And it doesn’t look as nice as the other two. I think if you changed it to text it would look more uniform. Or, we can google for nicer gifs b/c I didn’t have a lot of time to look around… Okay, I’ll shut up now. 🙂

Hey FM, us middle coasters are hungry too! And I’m already at work… just wanted to pop in and say hi to all before I get bogged down into more endless analysis.
Going to be 80+ here today, and I’m stuck in my freezing cube again … sure wish I didn’t have to work today! I think I will work at home tomorrow, since hardly anyone’s going to be around the office then anyway … besides I’ll have already blown through my 40 hrs by the end of the day today, and I want to cut my Friday short so I can do some more work in the garden!

I’m all for breakfast any time of day! We bought a 25# box of pancake mix at a restaurant supply store a couple years ago and every so often we’ll have pancakes for supper. No reason, just that they’re easy and taste good and everybody likes them.

Good morning folks. As usual, the same routine went as predicted. Now the cats are in their favorite spot napping. I want to come back as a cat to my family house when I am gone as a human! ;o)
It is a very lovely day here in TN today. I just want it to stay this way forever! Did you all heaar that they might be using some of those trailors sitting in Arkansas for us all up this way that fema wants to get us in those great things since we do not have homes any longer! I just want to puke! What a rediculous government we have…But I suppose that if they are nto being used in NOLA, then maybe we ought to put them to use in TN…;o(
I have been mowing gras now for a month! Can you imagine that!!??? My daughter and her daughters got me a lovely Easter lilly for a gift night before last. I never had one before, so would take anyone’s instruction on how to care for it and do I plant it outside or just keep it as a house plant?
I will probably have to go in to work later on so thought I would drop by and say hey. Good to see you all up and about this morning. hugs…

HI FM. I know, it has been sometime. I usually have just enough time to drop by and say hi and then off to work. I am not sure about today, tho. If I were to guess, I will have to go in and redo the same pt as yesterday which is a new pt, for his numbers are still yet too high. If I were the dr., I would do him again, then again…..
How is your weather doing? It will be up around 80 degrees here today. It was so close in the air yesterday, that I really did think of turning my AC on for circulation. I just opened more windows and started all my ceiling fans. There was just no air movement at all.
It’s the same here. We’re waiting on the AC man to come and fix a leak, so even if we wanted to turn it on, we couldn’t. Thank goodness it has been mild and we do have a breeze.
I’m waiting for a router to be delivered so I can take my laptop around the house. I think it would be cool to be able to be on the patio and blog out there when it’s nice.

Oh it will work out just fine. It is just that way with some pt’s. It is that they didn’t get sick over night so it will take them longer to get better. It will work out just fine. I just hate the waiting to know what I am suppose to do. I know what I would do if I were to call the shots…and no pun intended…:o)

One day I’ll tell you about my experiences in nursing.
I’ll go out on a limb here, since I don’t know exactly what species of lily you have, but most likely you can plant it in your garden when it’s done blooming. All lilies start out as bulbs and have to go through a dormant phase at some point in the year. What I’d suggest is that you enjoy it as long as you can indoors, then when the blooms are done, cut them off, leaving as much of the foliage that still looks good. Then you can (I think, given your climate in TN) just plant it in your garden for the rest of the year. It will die back at some point, perhaps even during the summer, but if it’s a hardy variety, it should come back for you next year. But then again, it may not, but you won’t be out anything if it doesn’t (unless you count the effort for planting it!) Sometimes flowering plants sold by greenhouses aren’t necessarily hardy varieties, but I’m betting this one would be in your zone. Enjoy it!

I had some day lillies that I did plant sever years ago and they bloomed for two years then died…:o(

Hi Olivia, and yes I am glad too that we did as well as we did. The damage was about 2 1/2 miles from me. I am really very lucky! Had some limbs and things down, but nothing like them just north of me. It was so bad! And to think this is just the beginning of the season!!;o(

Well, here I am at the office on x-out 2 day! (drums fingers on desk impatiently….) No one is here yet, it is very quiet, but won’t be that way for long. (Enjoy it while you can….) Soon Psycho-co-worker will be in yelling his crazy head off, chaos swirling like a hurricane in his wake. But only one more day after today!

I work alone and I wished on somedays that I had someone to be there with me and make a noise or something to that effect…just kidding….I like working alone. But when it does get hairy, I have to use the old adrenaline effect to help me through it. My adrenaline gland is not working as good as it did in the past since I turned 60..<<wink, wink>> Anyhow, if y ou are going on vacation, have fun and enjoy to the fullest.

This guy was a kick in the head. He was a gun nut and ex-grunt who was mad because at age 40-something with a bad back and no knees none of the armed services would take him for service in the first Gulf War. And yet he would say things like “I just can’t understand a country where they let Republicans walk around like normal people.”
While we’re on that subject… I’ve also heard some ignunt people refer to them as “whores devores.” Of course that makes my Frenchie ears just cringe in agony…

That would have been a good idea, except I have so many projects still to finish and have to train someone to fill in while the find a replacement for the irreplaceable mythmother. (Fat chance! No one in their right mind is ever going to last long around this place until some drastic changes are made.
She had an appointment this morning.

I really do wish everyone could be as lucky as me with their jobs. If I ever get frustrated at one place, I can always move on and do better. I know that not everyone can do that…I consider myself very lucky….besides, I love nursing and that always helps. And there is always a need for my profession.
I don’t have anything yet, but I’m sure something good will come along soon.
I am sure it will. I would enjoy the time and get to do something I was waiting on to do. I am glad you ou the very best…

I’m so excited — I went to the bookstore on the way home last night and everytime I go I always check to see if they have any of your books which they don’t (and then I always click on the box that says I would have purchased this book if they’d had it in stock ;P), but this time they did! I finally own a kansas book!

Man what a hockey game last night. Sharks won despite Harriet Miers version of “best officiating ever!”
Shower (late, as this week I simply can’t take one while my son is here in the morning. He’s been a stress monkey lately and so I have to wait for him to get on the bus before I can even think of.. think of showering. I left the room to go sort laundry and he started getting anxious about … Lindsay Lohan or some show coming on this week with her in it…
Other days are “no sweat” and other days…which last a week I’m wondering “if I can just shove jiffy puff marshmallows in my ears and tune everything out 🙂

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOT! but the officiating was soooooooo horrible. Both ways. Bad! We were down in the 3rd and tied it up. Took it into overtime, we don’t fair well with shoot outs – but we got one in before the 5 mins was up. I lost my mind!!!
I don’t know how I’d be feeling this morning if we didn’t win it. NHL officiating sucks right now. Especially for Joe Thornton. One game he was laying in a pool of blood and a ref pointed at him to get up. No call. No stoppage. Joe was spitting chicklets from a high stick. It totally sucks. Not my NHL. LOL
We’ve had some really bad games here too — and Edmonton! Oy. I don’t know — it never seems to get better.
