I asked this last w/e of the group in Memphis. I still do not have a concrete awareness of this publication.

I have always wondered about “W” just sitting there that day in the classroom. To me it looked like he was waiting. It is completely conceivable to me that this administration knew that an attack was likely and wanted it take place so that they would have a nation in fear and they could make a big power grab. I don’t think they knew what the details of that attack would be though.
Having seen Bush on tv listening to children during other school visits, I don’t attach any signficance to how he looked on that day. I saw no difference from how he has looked on other similar occasions. I think he was clueless of the significance of the attacks, because he was not interested in such matters until they directly affected him. And he had to be told that. If he’d been expected something, he would have looked and sounded more “presidential” that day, which he certainly did not!

I saw it and it had Judy in the title and Judy just makes my puke right now so I didn’t read it.
but when you look at the collapse of WTC #7, you know that 9/11 was an inside job. (Yes, I have seen the Popular Mechanics argument. But if PM were correct, then 9/11 also must include a massive cover-up of the criminal negligence that would make their explanation possible. Even if you believe, as I don’t, that a heat-damaged steel and concrete building could collapse suddenly and perfectly.)
So, who was on the inside? Here things get uncertain, though it had to include someone high enough up to know about the Air Force war games, and perhaps high enough up to intervene in them.
This last, of course, brings us to Judy’s close “friends” over at the White House.
This is as far as we get at this time, but surely it is interesting.
My present guess is that folk at the editorial level of the NYT knew, and Judy (having culpable knowledge*) is trying to get out from under by blaming them for quashing a story that she could have written but wouldn’t and didn’t.
*Just the other week 11 jurors voted death for someone who (they said) knew of a crime but did not report it to the FBI. Moussaoui, of course.
