Morning Miss Andi!!!! I had a great time at my delegate meeting last night and have another pre-convention get together tonight. I am running late this am so will check back in later if I get a chance. I did want to thank all of my friends at booman and all the other blogs for their out pouring of support yesterday on Bush’s national gay bashing day. Few of you will ever understand how much that meant to me and others in the GLBT Community.

I’m awake…trying to find something interesting for the news bucket. What I really want to do is rant about the carrying on over Ann Coulter and her bile-filled book and the Republicans being the party of moral values I saw on network teevee this morning. A string of pro Repug stories…with a brief mention that maybe making gay marriage an issue isn’t going to work the way it did in the last election.

I saw that Tucker Carlson had Ann on last night and I wondered why we are seeing her again after a long absence – guess the new book explains that.
Sometimes I just have to turn off the world and focus on my own little house. It’s so nice being oblivious.

Plans? Um, plans. Let’s see….gym? Probably not. Call the dentist about the crown I lost 3 months ago. Probably not. Nope, the day is wide open.
The dentist sounds like so much fun though. 🙂

I’m glad you mentioned it though. I looked on my calendar and saw I have to see the dentist on Thursday. I wonder if that was subconscious trying to forget it? 🙂

I have no idea what this flower is:
but I thought it was really pretty — it’s from the front yard of my in-laws’ next door neighbor.
The rest of the week is pretty much dedicated to getting stuff ready for the trip; need to do laundry today so all the pants and shirts I want to take get washed. And hoping to run out later today to pick up a couple more little items — I keep thinking of things I need! Oh, and our flight time got changed — we’re now flying out at 8:55am instead of 11:47am, which means we’re going to have to figure out how to kill 6 hours before our checkin time. 🙁 (Actually, I called the hotel and they said that if I call when we get into the airport, they’ll see if housekeeping can get a room ready early…which would give us some time to go out and play on Saturday.)
Okay, time to go dress and see if I can get the spouse moving…back later…

We leave Saturday morning, spend about 6 days in Seattle, then board a cruise ship (Vision of the Seas) on the 16th to cruise up the Inside Passage.
(We’ll be celebrating the spouse’s 50th birthday on the ship. 🙂 )
Return to Seattle on the 23rd, and have a couple of days in Seattle before we fly home on the 25th.
I will have the laptop with me, and our hotel has high-speed Internet, so I’ll at least be online during the Seattle legs.
And I’ll have tons of pictures… 🙂
We’ll be looking forward to those pix … 🙂
Hit and run once again today. That seems to be the story of my life this year. I’ve got a ton of writing to do, then a television interview on my writing (local cable access, no biggie-but man have I got the jitters). Anyhow, as Rabbit might say “busy backson”.

It’s been one of those days. The AC went out in our building at work and so It’s been teetering at 84 degrees in here all day. It sure wipes you out. I have no energy left at all. Thank goodness it’s almost time to go home. Turn the AC on baby I’m heading home. It’s been so hot I can’t get the basset off the bed. He blends with the sheets so well.
I bet the bed is occupied by the dog during all climates. Mine is so slackerific it’s almost sad.
