Good morning Andi. Got a long bike ride planned for today?
Probably not. It’s about to storm and there are more storms predicted. Plus I’ve got errands to run and I’m going over to my sister’s tonight. So I’ll probably end up just walking with the dogs today.
You got some major slacking on tap today?
No I had big plans yesterday, but none came about. So today I’ll try to get stuff done that I put off. That is unless a nap hits me before I get going.
Ugh, I have a chocolate hangover big time. Why do I eat chocolate when I know it does this to me?
Good morning early morning people. Looks like a beautiful but kinda hot day here.

It’s supposed to get up to the high 90’s here today. We’re getting to point of we could use some rain.
Chocolate gives me a big headache. You would think that would be enough to make me avoid it at all costs…but no.
My son is graduating from HS today at 2:00 which should be the hottest part of the day. Darn.
You know even with my headaches, chocolate has never been a problem.
A high school graduation, oh joy. 🙂 Did you get something to wear for it yesterday?
No I didn’t. I hate hate hate shopping for a specific thing because I can never find it. When I’m just shopping to get out of the house I see lots of things that I like. But when I’m pressed for time I come up empty. I’m afraid I’ll wear the same white linen pants and black top that I wore to court this week.

I should warn you that you need to bring an emergency chocolate supply when you come. Jim loves it but he doesn’t buy it.
I’m hoping to break my addiction by then. If I don’t have it for a week or so I lose my craving. It’s getting to that week that’s the problem.
Just the half and half. And none of that fat free stuff.
I just went and changed the reminder of my calendar so that it says ‘get half-and-half and none of that fat free stuff’ — so you’re covered.
How can fat free half and half even exist? It doesn’t seem possible.

Happy Saturday to everyone!!!!!The convention is a lot of fun and a lot of walking. Who ever designed the Fort Worth Convention center tied a piece of chalk to a goat and kicked the critter and put the hall ways and rooms where ever the chalk line went. I am actually glad today is the last day and we get to vote on party chairperson later today. There is a blue star breakfast at 8 am that I will go to and then figure out the rest of my day from there. Went to a few different parties last night and heard many candidates speak- some of them severl times as they hit all the caucuses. LOL

LOL I think the energy level is depleting quickly. I feel every second of my 47 and 3/4 years today and my feet hurt. LOL I have to decide which shirt to wear this am and take two others to wear or change into later in the day. Trust me when I say that no matter how light your laptop and bag are by the end of the day you wish you had a cabanna boy carrying the thing for you.
I often wish I had a cabana boy and it has nothing to do with carrying my laptop. 🙂

I have to share a secret that me and my friends have a theme and it is Balls. You try and work that term into almost any conversation and with my dirty mind you can quess the out come most of the time. LOL

LOL they call me on my cell and ask ” Where you at?” LOL
One of the parties last night was at an actual brewery and it was really unusual. The beer was really good and I am not really a beer drinker. It is called Rahr Brewery. The lack of ac was a bit disconcerting but the large fans and the energy of the people was great.
Now I could handle a party in a brewery.
An inexhaustible supply of beer. It only a dream. 🙂
Well, there red beer was wonderful and ebveryone said the dar and light were great also.
Geeze how can you go to a brewery without trying everything they have? I have to admitt I probably wouldn’t remember ever beer I tried, but it would be fun trying. 🙂
LOL because I had already had 7 double absolute and tonics before we got to that party. LOL
Yes I could see how that would be a problem. To much volume and to little effect.
LOL We did go to a wonderful steak house down in teh stockyard area of Fort Worth for dinner last night. I had a 10 oz ribeye that was cooked to perfection- which means blood rare or cold centered.
Sorry I never could hand my steaks that way. I need them a little more done.
another one of my many quirks. I was the only one at the table who ordered mine that way.
LOL Morning FamilyMan!!! Well besides attending two cauces and visiting with many candidates I know, I have been networking or trying to with many different people from all over the state. I have had to explain what Stonewall Democrats is about to so many people that I feel I am a first grade teacher. LOL
Refinish the teacher, that’s a concept. With all your energy you would probably be a good one.
I actually did teach two summers in college and wish in hindsight that I had gone ahead and got an education minor with teaching certification.
I’ll say it before Andi does: go ahead and do it now!

I might as they have actually started offering college course where I work. I guess I could starting back into school, keep blogging, designing, and doing all my political and civil rights stuff. I can always forget to sleep ever again. LOL
