May Peace Prevail. Peace Day September 21, 2006 ©

Life is busy.  Still, we make time to talk about peace.  We create a space in which we can chat online about the prospect.  However, rarely to we have the occasion or energy to make a more concerted effort towards bringing about world calm.  I wish to offer an opportunity.

Formal etiquette and common courtesy recommend that if we want attendees to turn out, we must invite them at least a month in advance, six weeks is preferable.  Therefore, it is time.  I wish to extend this invitation to you and yours.  All guests are welcome. Please join the worldwide movement, attend a Peace Day summit on September 21, 2006.
It will be unlike the Group of Eight conference.  Discussions of death will be deliberate.  Conversations promoting life and liberty will be calculated.  Double speak will be void and propaganda will not prosper.  Participants in the affair wish to only speak of peace and how to save the human race from itself.

Those separate from the military industrial complex are working to create ? the first day official of peace for all of humanity.  This date will henceforth be known as a global holiday.  The event is intended to stimulate thought and action.  It is designed to counter the forces that flood our nations with bombs and battles.

Please get involved.  There are many methods for participation.  I offer this link to the International Day of Peace Vigil.  I hope it will assist you.  As you explore you will discover there are many ways to communicate with other activists near and far.

Advocates of global tranquility can contribute to the cause.  We can create world peace!  Please do your part.  Consider this choice or other avenues that are open to you.  Promote peace on your path in the manner that feels best for you.  I only offer this option as a possibility, one of many.
