With as good a turnout as they have had in CT, wouldn’t it be difficult for Lieberman to complain that he didn’t get a fair showing from dems? That was his original complaint that dems did not vote in big enough numbers and so he would need to run as an indie to allow “everybody” to vote for him. So he is getting (currently at 84% – 48% of dem votes. Will those dems go out and support him as an indie? Are they that diehard? Repubs will probably find it difficult to decide who is more repub, the guy on their ticket or JoeMoe. What is the percentage of repubs to dems in CT?
He has held the primary vote fairly close. Lamont did not score the knockout people hoped for and opinion polls were predicting.
This will be another nailbiter in November.
I don’t have cable — did he “concede?” (heh, my 14-year-old daughter just im’d me what a loser he is) The Hartford Courant hasn’t called it but they have

A Connecticut Repulican caller on c-span just said he would vote for Loserman. I hope the pols can track that for November. If Loserman wins (yuk) – he’ll be an independent who claims to be a democrat who has been elected by republicans. What an ass. (a second rep. c-span caller just said he would vote for Loserman)

52-48, that is a nice four point lead. Not a landslide but a solid victory given the very impressive turnout.
Better than Bush has done in either of his elections.

When he talked about wanting to give everyone the chance to vote for him – he was talking about Republicans.

Leiberman is on cspan folks making an ass out of himself. He just said he is running for independent canidate. He is cutting Lamont down. What a jerk!
Concession speech…What a fucktard he is!
DC dems will justify coming down and touting an indie?
He is such a steaming pile…

He conceded, but it was the most arrogant non-concession concession speech he could have made.
