Okay, so this is supposed to be funny how?  Maybe it’s all the Stella Artois I had at the bar tonight, but I have yet to find what’s inspiring about Ali G (who sucked in Taledega Nights, btw) misunderstanding feminism. This is the same ole comedic routine (on purpose, I assume) I’ve seen from many male comics. It’s old and far from useful. So, what’s the point?

maybe you have to see his whole repertoire.

Your complaint is a little like blaming Steven Colbert for being a right winger.

Well…yeah…he play a right winger.  But he isn’t one.

      People who don’t think Ali G/Borat/Bruno is funny . . . I don’t know

His stuff is genius. You can watch it over and over.

It’s not that I don’t think Ali G is funny – he usually is – I just didn’t find that particular clip funny. And Booman, you migh be right – seeing the whole thing could make a difference.

of anti-feminist men.  It was really funny and in many ways better than most of his stuff because he was more making fun on his own character’s lack of education than try to trip up the interviewee.

Yep. It’s funny. It’s always unforunate for his victim, but then so was Candid Camera.
