Thank you!!! At the campaign camp I went to they actually did a siminar on letters to the editor and I think it has helped me get more published lately. I am going to start sending them to every paper in Texas. LOL
Now is a good time to tell how much I love seeing your photos from around your home. They always remind me so much of the place I rented for 4 years on Catoctin Mountain in Maryland…my alltime favorite place. They have a very calming effect :o)

And SN, is Hopeful a beagle or a basset hound? I’m just asking because my buddy Henry the beagle, who I had to say goodbye to in July, used to LOVE to chew/eat toilet paper. I thought it was just a particular quirk of his. But maybe its a hound dog thing. Who knew?? Seeing this brought back many memories this morning – although he never laid down the beautiful “white carpet” like that.
She’s a basset hound and she LOVES all kinds of paper to chew. Yesterday she chewed up her dog bed which is made of canvas and LOTS of stuffing, and she ripped a big hole in the wallboard and ate that. Sheesh.
I’ve always thought you needed a good sense of humor to own a hound. Henry liked to chew all kinds of paper too – how odd is that?!
My funniest Henry story is about when I left my state tax return check on the coffee table overnight. You can guess the punchline to this story. Imagine calling the state department of revenue to tell them that “my dog ate my check – no really, he did!!”
Not only is wonderful in itself but it reminds me of when Puck (one of my much missed mutts) unrolled one of those huge wheels of electrical wire that had been left outside by the guys installing our whole house air conditioning. She took one end and ran down the path into the woods with it.
Cake, flowers, spinach and the love of a liberal community — seems like your year is off to a good start. May magic and joy and peace come your way every single day!
I have some wonderful generic pills that brought my cholesterol down to a more acceptable level, so I cheat a little every now and then. Hope you have a Family Man kind of day.
i spent yesterday at bethany beach sipping proseca and getting a really bad sunburn…then we stopped at a breeder and picked up my baby lovebird….that was my compromise present…i wanted a great dane.
im feeding her grapes now and we are listening to the carter family…she seems to like the twang.
the swelling is gone, the pain is gone…the incision is disappearing already which is amazing considering they cut into the same place 3 times….i have tons of energy and i can have sex again.
i lost 12 lbs thru this ordeal and im getting a whole new wardrobe.
Not really – unless Unbirthdays count. Happy Birthday dear lady. Thanks for all the wonderful photos.
As far as I’m concerned, it’s always a party if Andi’s around. Let there be music and dancing. Cakes and flowers, dogs and spiders too, especially trees.
