I just looked and we’re under a tornado watch until 9:00 am. It got pretty bad with lighting and wind yesterday afternoon and last night, but so far everything looks OK.
I’m glad for the rain because we can use it, but more of a gentle sprinkle would be nice. 🙂
So when they get up, they should go out to take George for a walk. Everybody knows that walking in the rain is very nice — haven’t they seen Singin’ in the Rain?
Where’s SN this morning? I just saw on the news that there was a 2.6 earthquake in her area yesterday. She better watch out, she might be falling off into the Atlantic. 🙂
2.6? That’s not an earthquake… that’s just worms wiggling around. 🙂 I kid! I lived in one of the most seismically active areas of N. Calif. We’d get those all the time… and I sweart to dawg, I’d feel em each time too.
I think some of my rain is heading that way too. The rels will be here about a week. Heck as longs as they took care of just themselves, I would be happy. 🙂
Guess what I forgot to do! Register to vote!!! Imagine. So I’m off to the registrar’s office as today’s the deadline. It’s no longer as simple as just filling out a piece of paper anymore… (grumble) and I think that’s why I put it off.. and then forgot it.
Good unfreaky morning! I had intense scary nightmares most of last night so stayed home from work today. The worst one was when I heard someone come in my room and put his/her/its hand around my ankle and I couldn’t open my eyes-eeeek! The least scary was one in which my truck overheated and all sorts of lights and alarms went off. I think there was one about a monster baby too.
Holy moley, soup — sound pretty terrifying. Manifest anxiety, no doubt. Thankfully, dreams give us a place to deal with our issues in a place where we can’t actually be hurt.
Considering the current state of things, I’d be surprised if we don’t suffer terrifying dreams.
Me, I’m dreaming lately of the Magic Eight Ball (minus the answers).
I’ve got a late meeting here which is about to start … and it’s cold and grey. Hang in there my friend … I’ll catch up w/ ya later … I think we’re both going to need a good happy hour … 🙂
Back from the doctor — she thinks my fatigue, blah feelings etc. are just a bug, but she added a couple of blood tests to the ones I already had scheduled, just to be on the safe side. She’ll email me the results when they’re in.
Good news though — I’m down 9 freakin’ pounds! And my BP was well in the normal range (120/78)! That’s a good sign…
I will have to go… ACK… pant shopping again. My ‘tightest” jeanss can now be yanked off me without even unbuttoning or unzipping them…
Worse is – none of my underpants fit.
and I really HATE shopping for new jeans. ACK!
Not sure how much weight I’ve dropped… as I don’t own a scale. But I just feel healthier… but damn… I gotta go pants AND panty shopping. Can totally handle shopping for panites… but jeans??? EW!
🙂 good luck on the tests. EEK I gotta run to work. Ciao!
Janet is doing this on purpose just to embarrass me. She’s admitted as much. Talking about panties and pulling down her jeans without unbuttoning them.
Good morning Andi.
Did your weather ever clear up? It has been raining here since yesterday morning.
It’s still raining here, too — pretty hard at times but the radar shows that it’s going to let up soon.

So does that mean you can’t send the relatives outside to play?
Are you kidding? I can’t even get George to go outside. 🙂
Hopefully the relatives will be asleep for many more hours.
So when they get up, they should go out to take George for a walk. Everybody knows that walking in the rain is very nice — haven’t they seen Singin’ in the Rain?
It’s not so much them, it’s George. I don’t think he ever saw Singin in the Rain. 🙂
Maybe if I got him a little doggie rain coat…..

Hi Andi and FM!
Andi, it looks like we’re going to get your rain now that you’re finished with it. sigh.
How long are the relatives staying, FM? Do they know they’re supposed to take care of you and your vertebrae? 😉
Morning CG.

I love the Oregon rain.

can’t have DJ not voting … 🙂
yep, I’m freaking spaced it off. I’ve been registered to vote since I was 18.
Looks like a slow day in the pond … how about some fractured quotations. 🙂
Those are great, Miss O! Thank you.
Absolutely must compliment you on the poppy pic, too. Your artistry continues to blossom beautifully.
😉
Hope everyone’s enjoying a fine day. Can’t hang out long, myself — right sided neuropathy. Ouchie boo.
Good to see ya … I hope you get feeling better soon! {{{w}}}
