Hi FM.
No big plans – spend time with the asklets. Not easy with the older one, who has her own hectic schedule.
Didn’t see you around for a few days – out of town?
Morning everyone. Best cup of hot coffee…ever. I know I say that every morning but it’s true every morning. Cool (not cold) and cloudy – expecting rain today and tomorrow. Youngest boy has midterms again today then he and I will go visit the other boy at college tomorrow and take him out to lunch, away from cafeteria food. Got to make up some of the 17 lbs he lost being sick.
Saw a devastating short play last night at the high school called The Katrina Project. Made Bush and Co. look suitably useless. Surprised they did something so ‘controversial’ in a red state.
It was a wild and woolly Friday downunder. We had rain, hail, and SNOW, at various angles from near vertical to near horizontal, interspersed with sunshine. 😀
And it’s spring here.
Climate change. What climate change?
It’s only 45 minutes to Saturday and the fOtofair. I wonder who will post first? 😉
I added a photo to the dog blog of Luna in today’s snow.
I have a blanket over the tomatoes in the veggie garden, but I’m afraid some of the other veggie will not make it through the night. Oh well, seedings are fairly cheap.

Well, I’m sure your competitive southern hemisphere ass will get over the finish line first 😉 but the master diary that has the links to everyone’s diary won’t be up till early saturday morning in the northern hemisphere so you might want to wait until a little closer to olivia’s wake up time.
you might want to wait until a little closer to olivia’s wake up time
But I’ll be asleep by then (Luna just climbed on the couch, and Albert’s already stretched out in fromt of the fire – they’re just waiting for me to turn off the lights).
Good morning all! One rollercoaster of a week-glad to see its backside! Picked a large quantity of leaves to decorate the house for our pumpkin carving party tomorrow-they are sooo beautiful. Unfortunately didn’t get more than a couple hours of sleep last night-will try to get at least a little nap in soon.
‘Morning/’afternoon, all. Great to see you!
Definitely looking forward to the Fotofair, though I can’t participate sniffle.
That’s another truly gorgeous photo you’ve got up there, Andi. I literally sigh with pleasure — you have no idea. Thank you for performing this life-giving service.
I was awakened from a light flu-sleep last night by a continually circling helicopter directly overhead, complete with searchlights & flashing, space-ship accoutrements. The damn thing circled overhead for over an hour — puttputt puttputt puttputt puttputt — while most of the neighborhood drowzed on, blissfully at peace. Thought to myself: what the hell are they doing out there –looking for Osama?
Nothing on the local news today, however. Chalk it up to well-ingrained paranoia on the part of your formerly wildnerness pond-mate.
Me, I do miss the coyotes — & look forward to the day when I can greet you with something other than kvetching.
‘who knows where the time goes’ it would have been the perfect lead-in to the FRT (judy collins song). Anyway, I just opened the lounge. Do your FRT and come on over.
Good morning Andi.
Nice to have you back here in the morning.
Are you relative free?
Yep I’m relative free. Thank goodness.
So have you used all that free time to get all your pictures picked out and your templates done for the photo fair?
Yep I already had the pictures pcked out, just got to see how they look enlarged so I’ll know how they look.
How is everyone today? Ready for the photofair?
Not only am I all ready but I’ve got Jim all ready, too. One good thing that came out of spending a bunch of evenings in hotel rooms.
Wow. I’ll have to come up with some pics so I can participate…
Hi CG,
Rain in the forecast for tonight.
Are you still coming to NY?
Yep. I am so looking forward to it! 🙂
Great!
I’ll call around 5 & see you at Garage.
Talk to you then!
Good morning, Andi FM and CG.
We woke up to a cold apartment this morning.
Better turn the heat on.
Hi Ya ask.
Got any plans for the weekend?
Hi FM.
No big plans – spend time with the asklets. Not easy with the older one, who has her own hectic schedule.
Didn’t see you around for a few days – out of town?
Nah wasn’t feeling well and I had a procedure done on my back.
But HE’S back now. 🙂
That sound painful.
Good you’re back in commission.
Yeah it was kind of painful, but I’m back in the FBC and all is well. 🙂
Are you keeping that good forecast for CG’s visit?
Hi Andi,
See above. Sunny morning, cloudy afternoon – high in the low 50’s. More iffy for tonight – heavy rain coming.

I’m not going to be around this evening…can someone take care of posting the Friday Random 10 and lounge for me?
I’ve got a physical thearpy appointment for Fmom this afternoon, so I don’t think I could.
Thank you! 🙂

Afternoon keres. Sounds like your weather has been a little screwy.

And I’m only competitive about a few things.
You’re probably asleep but if you come back in 8 hours or so and read this — I was thinking about you posting Saturday afternoon your time.
We’ll just make sure that keres’ diary gets added to the master diary.

Off to cook an egg on my forehead — back later. Enjoy, all!
Glad you enjoyed the photo — as it’s been raining here since yesterday, I’m pretty much sighing over it, too.
Jeez. Just “woke up” from a 3 hour surprise nap. Where does the time go?
