Hey, I got iWeb tonight and greatly improved the Booday Project website. The link is my signature. It even has a way to leave comments, so you (or anyone else) can get say your piece, if you like. If this catches on, I can password the comments and only let group members make comments. I’m not going to worry about that just yet.
Your story is now in three neat sections. The text is unchanged. I’ll look over it again during the break and clean up any loose ends or correct any errors I made moving the story around.
Thanks. The amazing thing is that I loaded the program at 5:30 pm cooked dinner and still had that up and running by 11:00 pm. Oh, and no manual of any kind needed. I love Macs. Now I really do have to go.
Yeah, I’m just dorking around before I go to bed. Found some old “relaxation” CDs in my collection. I’m going to see if they provide good ambient noise for going to sleep by.
There’s nothing about what’s happening in Fiji that is affecting me personally. I don’t know enough about the situation in Fiji to offer an opinion. I can only hope that whatever happens happens without bloodshed.
It seems many of the island nations in the region are strife-torn: Tonga, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea all are in our news at the moment.
Australia has a complicated history with PNG in particular, having “inherited” it from England and having occupied it as a colony ’til relatively recently. Any attempts by Australia to send in troups in the region have that unsavory past to contend with.
In 1970 I was tasked with bringing some “mercs”, a portable powerplant, a heliocopter & a bulldozer down to PNG. This was in anticipation of Austrailia giving home rule to PNG. Many individual private entities, were afraid of losing their financial interests to more powerful ones [hence the mercenaries] . The islands I was heading to were the AURORA`S. I eventually nixed the deal after months of preparations for such a questionable long Pacific crossing. My ship was the “MV ROGUE”, a 180′ steel hull.
Froggybottom was asleep at the wheel. Don’t let him drive the Boo Bus.
We’ve been pounding on the door, but the lights were out and no one was home. Anybody wake?
I guess since SN is in Cleveland nobody else was paying attention on a Monday night.
Hi, mary. I guess Monday Night Football also distracts some of the crowd.
Personally I was boycotting the place until the travesty that was perpetrated against Springsteen moved down from the top of the front page 🙂
I wasn’t sure what the Booer was thinking on that one. You’d think he respect a fellow Jersey boy .
It almost made me regret sending sending his impeachment diary to Jack Danforth. 🙂

Anybody still awake?
No more than usual.
How are things in Tasmania?
Warm and windy, mostly.
Oh, and very, very dry.
I’ve got the vet coming out to see the alpacas in the morning, so I’ll need to shore up the catch pen. Other than that, not much is happening.
