I’ve discovered the one thing the cable news is really good at. They’re fantastic at making dead men look really, really good. I mean, it’s almost like you could pardon Nixon after he ordered the Brookings Institute to be firebombed and they would still think you’re a saint.

It is rather amazing. One thing I did a double take on was that Ford`s funeral was going to start on Fri. HUH? Usually one would say it starts at 10;30 on Fri. I guess what it really means, is it starts Fri. & continues till next year.
well they made ronnie sound like a damn national hero and he was one of the worst presidents ever till shrub came along. Hell, I threw a coctail party to celebrate ronnie death.

and high and mid level political appointees it is important for the Dems to do thorough investigations. To prevent the re-appointment of these officials it is important to continue the investigations even though the Republicans become eager for impeachment to cleanse their party of the president and salvage what is left of the reputations of these mid level appointees.
Wait until the dies. My bet is we will see endless clips of Hinderaker and ilk calling him a traitor. Democrats are being polite about Ford. Republicans won’t show the same decency for Democratic leaders.
