They do if you have a lot of bourbon first.
They make a wonderful eggnog. Skip the eggy milky stuff, and use melting ice cream with the bourbon.
Oh mercy! Brandy Alexander made with ice cream instead of cream!!! Too delicious to be legal. LOL Haven’t had one of those for waaaay too many years.
well, now that I think about it … you can skip the float, and I’ll just take the ice cream … 🙂

at these, Head. saw the “kidspeak” airplane shot the other day…kudos!
Thanks dada. I missed the deadline of the fourth, by the way. I was a little busy for a few days & couldn`t get entries in. As for the moon with the plane, I figured out that no amount of running around is going to help.
It`s just as fortuitous to sit & wait for the transect as long as the paths will intersect low enough in the sky. The “high in the sky” crossings are very fast & do not really coincide with the normal flight path of the planes. I assumed that if I figured the odds correctly & followed my new plan, that of waiting, the odds I wouldn`t get a heart attack, were vastly improved. The overhead moon-shots do provide a much sharper image though. Here`s a shot taken from the ISS, from 800 miles away.
It`s of Mt. Mckinley. An 800mm lens was used.

Now I feel much betta. I was afraid to ask. That`s very good news. I should have suggested some live brine shrimp, as their natural instinct is to catch little sguiggley things & often triggers the feeding response.
realizing everything ppl tell you in pet stores about these fish is completely wrong … saw that they like the brine shrimp … I saw that you can grow them but there’s also frozen stuff — you thaw it?

People in the fish store are there to sell, not to educate you. That`s why, you don`t need an education to work at some of them. One has to be carefull buying live food from these stores as the live food may be infested with parasites. The frozen fish food suppliers are much better. I buy frozen food but do hatch my own shrimp by the 10`s of thousands. I usually run two hatcheries, as the hatch time is between 24/36 hrs. If your fish need that food on a daily basis, you need to run two hatcheries & alternate the start time by 1/2 that time, that way, you always have food for them. Before you feed them to your fish, you feed the shrimp with phytoplankton. When their little bellies turn green, its time to feed them to your fish. Here`s a pic of a few of my experimental hatcheries. People would come into the room & look at me funny. I`d tell them not to talk about what they had seen as it was illegal to set up a meth lab. hah
yep, read that too about the live food and parasites … and considering some of the places here I’d be real leary.
that’s a lot of shrimp! how many do you feed each day?
It took me about three hours to count up to 859, then some idiot asked me if Tom`s phone number was 953-2471. I lost count, so I just threw in a few thousand. I usually hatch shrimp when I `m doing my breeding programs, where I might have 80/100 fry. I feed them three or four times a day, so my batches get eaten fast. Whatever I don`t feed to the fry, at a given feeding, I throw into one of my other aquariums.
