I didn’t know what to get so I sent Ben in and told him just the regular old chicken sandwich. It was this slimy fried patty on a bun with dill pickle slices. WTF?
So I’m eating a donut instead.
We’ve got 3 fast food hamburger places here, 1 breakfast/lunch diner and 2 places that open up for supper. Don’t complain, at least you’ve got choices. Ya just made a bad choice this time. 🙂
I’ve been avoiding it but i told Ben he could pick as long as he agreed not to kill me on the way. He’s a frightening driver, and I’ve been through this 3 times before.
Ben must be a good driver because you’re still alive. Next time you pick.

I’ve been ODing on Thai food lately. Tom Kha soup has become my new comfort food – much appreciated lately.

I’ll save that for when I’m really feeling like punishing myself. My MIL makes it and I have to gag it down on Wonder Bread. Who the hell still eats Wonder Bread?
It’s not Wonder, but this house wouldn’t survive if there wasn’t a couple of loafs around all the time. I had forgotten until I moved back here how many sandwiches go through this place.
We used to play communion with Wonder Bread. You can rip little circles and smush it down to paper thin.

Since you’ve asked, CBtE is doing well, despite the horrendous weather they’ve had. The first thing they told me this morning was “He’s superfriendly (wonder where that came from?), very respectful (well in public, anyway), and fun to be around (when he’s not being McSurly). They said he’s made a lot of progress.

Actually, everything they said was pretty positive. They said that the kids are a good group, and they’re determined to finish this out and graduate (this week, the kids take over the responsibilites for the group while the instructors take a step back). Apparently, they were all pretty impressed with themselves when they reaized they’ve been camping and backpacking in weather that has been responsible for 65 deaths (yikes!)in Texas since they’ve been out there.
and what did the doctor have to say to you?
Upped my Advair dose for 2 weeks, and gave me antibiotics even though it’s most likely viral. Said my lung function was pretty good for being sick. Oh, and I have a teeny tiny heart murmur. TMI yet?
Spent half an hour catching up on what’s been going for the last couple years…and laughing about the fact that the first notation in my chart from 12 years ago is “Pleasant 27-year-old patient”.
Now I’m sure that is WAY too much information… 🙂
It always bugs me when they give you an antibiotic even though they’re pretty sure it’s viral. I’m sure that’s part of the reason there are superbugs out there.
Pleasant? I shudder to think what their first impression of me was. I don’t want to know.

The remarkable thng about that is that I was 5 months pregnant and in the ICU when I first met the pulmonologist.
Or maybe not, considering how many patients are actually conscious in the ICU.
In that case my notation would have said: whiney, bloated, wheezing woman….

Hi Folks. I am back among the living I think. I went into mini deression with the news about my place Mondat and have not been functioning to say the least. Nothing new on that front but I will start working my ass off to find a new place to love by the 10th.

I had a realtor try to keep mine one time and when he finally coughed up the money, he gave me a bad check.
I have never even met the new owners at all. I met the brother but not them. He is really nice but seems his sister is a bitch. LOL
Is this brother and sister part of the new owners set or the old owners. It would seem the new owners wouldn’t have any responsibility to give a deposit back.
Also start checking out some of those storage space incase you need them.
