You have to use html. Not all html is allowed in sigs though so I don’t if it will actually work. You can make it bold or italic though.

Easy weekend, I hope. Spend time with the kids. My daughter is writing a feature on the significance of the netroots and blogging for her school paper and we’ll be meeting a ‘prominent’ local blogger for an interview on Sunday.

Seven feet is nothing. We used to walk to school in our little wool uniforms in 7 feet of snow, uphill, both ways. We catholic girls are impervious to snow and cold.

As for ice, we don’t have any here — but over on the other coast, my poor pop was doing some curling and slipped and busted his poor head. We’ve all been picking on his curling-related injury (it’s a brutal sport, you know!), but I’m glad he’s okay.

Sorry to hear about the curling accident, we were just talking about our attempts at live-blogging curling during the Olympics last year. what an odd coinkydink
He’s maybe the kind of person who should just not try to do sports that involve ice. He had a similar slip last year, just out in the driveway. My mom keeps joking that she’s going to make him wear a helmet everytime he goes outside in the winter.
I’ve never really understood curling, but I enjoyed watching it in the olympics last time — it was a little bit like watching cricket for me, where I have no idea what the hell is going on but it’s sort of fascinating to try to get from context.
