We’re on schedule for Senator Christopher Dodd to be here at 3:30 eastern time.
Please have a question ready to post in the thread and please limit yourself to one question. He’ll try to be here until 4:00pm, so the earlier you post a question the better your chances of getting a response. He will have some staffers that will help follow up on any questions that the Senator cannot get to. After 4pm you can ask more questions.
Thanks for your cooperation.
In the meantime, while we are waiting, what’s on your mind?
In 2003 you tried to get an amendment to stop tax incentives to offshore outsource American jobs, in the absurdly titled, “American Jobs Creation Act of 2004” and were defeated and the GOP controlled Congress turned that bill into a gigantic corporate pork fest and even increased tax incentives to offshore outsource jobs.
What kind of economic, trade, labor policies do you wish to see enacted now?
(Thank for for your amendment in ’04)
should we post our comments here, or wait for the new FP thread?
Just a bunch of the usual stuff swirling around in my head about bushco. Now they are against car pooling and would rather build more roads and charge drivers a fee actually for getting access to certain roads. I thought our taxes was already enough of a fee besides that low income people once again would get screwed when they don’t have the damn money to use certain roads. Shitty idea number one thousand and one from these clowns.
And bush says well he has no concrete evidence about Iran supplying weapons but he just knows that they are ..well allrighty then, Happy Valentines Day Iran now let the bombing begin.
So the other blogger for Edwards quit also apparently forced out by the hate mail she was getting from those good old whacko christians.
Iraqi’s also use AK-47. Will they invade Russia?
details, details. No matter how many times you mentioned eastern time, I still marked my calendar for 3:30 central time, and I didn’t notice the conversation until, I dunno, 3:59 eastern.
Thanks for making those arrangements – much appreciated!
(I’m assuming we can expect a Brownback conversation in the near future.) ;^)
