Don’t be! I’m happy you’re here. I’ve been up all night and day with George and I’m more worn out than usual.
Is George okay? I am trying to get use to doing this and I will be honest I lost track of what day of the week it is. I just don’t want to cause any ill will and get fired as a host my first week. LOL
He has been whining and crying since late yesterday afternoon and most of today. I went to the vet with him and I’ve got antibiotics for him, but it hasn’t eased what bothering him yet.
You should know there’s never any ill will from me. Actually I’d appreciate it if you could go ahead and look out for the cafe tonight. I’m trying to catch cap naps between his crying and whatever FMom needs.
I will be glad to and the Diva Dogs and I are sending warm thoughts of Love and Healing!!!!!
Sorry to hear that George isn’t well. I read your b earlier today — it was a crazy day here, thankfully over.
I hope the antibiotics help him feel better.

Big, big headache. Took the dog to get a bath and nails clipped and now she won’t even make eye contact with me. But the weather is gorgeous so who am I to complain?
Sorry about the headache. The Diva Dogs love going to the vet for their baths when I do that. I take them there instead of a groomer cause the vet and staff seem to love the girls almost as much as I do.

Howdy Keres!!!! FamilyMan will be proud of me. I slacked all day but that is because I was not feeling well earlier today and slept most of the day and now feel fine. LOL
Sleep good.
Due to aches and pains, I’ve been having trouble sleeping through the night. Fortunately for me, I can usually sleep in to make-up for the missed snoozing.
I think it was what my body needed. I had to cancel an appointment but oh well. LOL I also have a long way to go on the latest design project but am not going to worry about that tonight at all.

The only Cobb salad I can remember eating was when I got stranded in Phoenix (or was it Denver) when my plane from Albuquerque arrived too late for me to make my connecting flght to Sacramento.
There was nothing even remotely vegetarian on the hotel menu, so I ordered a Cobb salad without the ham. When it came, it was enough food to feed three people. Must be the standard portion.
To quote my mother “Gripes my soul to throw away good food”.*
* actually it gripes her soul to throw away food that even the dogs would reject.
I’m with your mother on that one.
Fortunately, we have a very big compost bin (no, not Luna, although she’s the first option), so I can assuage my guilt through organic reclamation.
Actually, the chickens, ducks and possums have very low standards for food and what goes in the compost frequently comes out just as quickly.
so not much gets wasted at home. But I don’t think the hotel would look kindly on having a compost heap on the extra bed.
Probably not. Nor would you for that matter. Our bin is located as far from the house as reasonably possible.
I’m being called and cried for so I’ll try to drop by later.
