No hangover here, either…We were celebrating my friend’s daughter’s birthday last night with burgers at Ruby’s diner, chocolate chip cookies instead of cake, and yeah, a little red wine.
Hi CabinGirl!!! Mine has been slow but good. I slept a lot yesterday and will probably do the same today. Don’t know what caused the fever but I am taking it easy fort the next couple of days just in case. LOL
I like my (vodka) martinis…I mean, what other drink comes with blue cheese-stuffed olives? Come to think of it, that might be why I don’t like chocolate ones – no olives.
Ry had a blast in Cle – 3 inches of new snow and green beer (ick) and the parade. Now 11 hours of driving today. Southerners don’t do St. Pat’s day. 🙁 …maybe because there aren’t any Catholics down here.
They had a parade here in Raleigh but it was all little kids and fire trucks. And they sold hot dogs and hamburgers instead of corned beef and shepherd’s pie. I’m surprised about Savannah – I thought it was NY, Chicago, Philly et al.
Back still bothering me a bit, so having a quiet day — spouse went out to FINALLY get the old bedspread and pillow shams washed so he can drop them at Goodwill; they’ve been in the trunk for a couple of weeks. lol So I get a couple of hours peace and quiet. Good chance for me to go through and get old magazines bagged up for recycling — he can stick THEM in the trunk for a couple of weeks till he gets to the recycling center. LOL
Was going to do a chicken dish in the slow cooker but got lazy, so I’ll just bake them instead — relatively easy.
Hope Andi and Jim are having safe travels to their destination…haven’t checked the weather around Tucson (I think that’s where she said they were heading).
Oh, I’ve been busy as a Cdn beaver building a new dam.
Well, mostly just alternately staring at this screen and then at a foggy horizon. I’ve had a few birds at the feeder and saw a couple squirrels and a cottontail in the back yard. That’s about it for excitement today.
After two days in a row of mostly overcast I’m hoping for a decent sunrise tomorrow morning.
Not yet, I’m waiting for some sun. They don’t show up very well against the background of snow and trees otherwise. But it should be fun to try the new lens:)hopefully tomorrow.
Hope everyone had a great St Patrick’s day and the hand overs are not to bad this am. LOL
seems froggybottom is having typo problems this am. That is suppose to say hang overs. LOL
Good morning, rf!
No hangover here, just not enough sleep.
Morning ask!!!!!
Good morning ask and refinish!

How’s everyone else’s weekend going?
Hi CabinGirl!!! Mine has been slow but good. I slept a lot yesterday and will probably do the same today. Don’t know what caused the fever but I am taking it easy fort the next couple of days just in case. LOL
I’m glad you’re having a more relaxing weekend. You need to take care of yourself.
Thanks for the pet food recall reminder (I’m a dry dog food only person, but the more people that know about it, the better)
I am trying!!! Yeah the Diva Dogs only get dry food and once in awhile I add in some tuna or salmon as a treat. LOL
Red wine for the kiddos – always a good idea! 😉
The red wine counter acts the caffeine in the chocolate. LOL
It is the perfect mix. 🙂
Somehow, vodka and chocolate seemed inappropriate for the occassion. 🙂
How are you today?
Depends on the vodka. LOL Chocolate Martinis are good LOL
mY friend loves those, but I still prefer to ingest my chocolate and vodka separately.
Me too. I am not a martini person often. I might have one as an after dinner drink but usually stick to vodka and tonic.
That way you can be delightfully sloshed and no one can smell it on your breath. They just think “same old RF!”
ROTFLMAO!!!!
No fooling, I think you’d be a blast to hang out with. 🙂

You serve them with a cherry of if the bar is hightone a chocolate dipped cherry or strawberry.
Okay, I MIGHT be able to trade my olives for the chocolate dipped strawberry…LOL.
I’m pretty good today, thanks for asking! I’m having the best cup of coffee of my life right now – just like every morning.
Sounds like every morning is the perfect morning at your place, then. 😉
It’s cold here…and the ‘snow’ is still just one frozen mass today. The cold weather has brough back our lingering coughs too. :/

The second or third largest st patty’s day celebration in America is Savannah Ga. You should check it out some year.

if you have pets and feed then canned food you need to see this.

Ain’t there no happy hour today?
😀
I’ve been working hard all day … 😉
How are YOU doing?

I’m hoping for some clr skies for ya too.

Who took that picture? It would make the perfect jigsaw puzzle. I would spend at least a week on it.
Been a while … Hope things are going well!
are you having that heat wave where you’re at. I heard a story on NPR that people were swarming the beaches months ahead of normal.
Hope all is going well for you these days!
