I dreamed about Andi last night, and cooking bacon at my sister’s house and some sort of messy christmas party with tons of my nieces and nephews in attendance.  I think this offends Andi in at least 2 distinct ways, possibly three.

I caught most of it and it was OK.  Since they’ve cut down the number of shows per season and you’re seeing the re-run over and over and over, I’ve sort of lost interest in it.

          • Second Nature
Second Nature on May 17, 2007 at 7:46 am

Me too.  I got tired of getting jerked around.  I heard that they are commited to 3 more seasons.  I hope the writers come up with an actual long term storyline.

That looks wonderful.  I’ve sort of reached this point where I’m sick of cooking and feel I just don’t have it in me anymore.  My favorite meal is anything that someone else makes for me.  I need a wife.

          • CabinGirl
CabinGirl on May 17, 2007 at 8:14 am

I’ve been going through that too.  Usually a new cookbook is enough to inspire me again, and I really miss my cooking light subscription.  At least with that, I would try one or 2 new things a month.

We’ve pretty well worked our way through the Indian cookbook since Christmas, so this will be a nice change.  Plus, I love the Moroccan/Lebanese desserts.

Did you get Mr. home safe and sound yesterday?

        • Second Nature
Second Nature on May 18, 2007 at 6:16 am

I don’t mind getting up early, provided I have actually slept.  I do not like sleeping with another person and I’ve had two weeks of a bed to myself…now suddenly there is a large, snoring lump taking up 3/4 of the bed.

          • Family Man
Family Man on May 18, 2007 at 6:20 am

My niece was telling me yesterday that her husband had gone to a sleep clinic and that they had diagnosed him with sleep apnea.  He has something now that he has to wear when he sleeps and it stops the snoring. She said she gets a full nights sleep and he said after two weeks, he’s never felt better.

You might want to check that out, or just get some ear plugs. 🙂

          • Second Nature
Second Nature on May 18, 2007 at 6:24 am

I’ve been thinking about having him do something about the snoring.  If he’d lose some weight it would probably go away. Right now it sounds like he’s drowning in quicksand.

          • Family Man
Family Man on May 18, 2007 at 6:27 am

I agree about the weight, but my niece’s husband is far from being overweight.  So even if he did loose, he might continue to snore.

Good to hear about the cold.

I remember back in my working days, no one ever had to remind me about Friday is here.  ðŸ™‚

I was busy thinking about how to get myself a sexual escapade at 4:30 a.m. in California.

Either that or was I thinking I’d go take a shower.

Everyone have a good day in the pond.

It’s going to be a very slackerly weekend too.  If anything I’ll finish up on cleaning the house.  Doing anything to the lawn is out.

Would it kill them to leave out a couple of rows of seats  or do they have to cram them in like sardines?  That’s half the reason I hate to think about a flight of more than 2 hours.

Yeah, I’d say that planes are the new buses but buses are probably more comfortable than planes.

I’m being informed that I need to go for a walk in the woods.

            See ya later.
