Yes but we’re known for our slacking. Slow movement, slow speach, etc. It ain’t easy either. Very few like me are born with it. Most have to be taught. 🙂
You know, I think one of the oddest things about the human animal is that we don’t bask in the sun more. It’s clearly a favorite with many of our companion species.
I know, skin cancer and all, but we don’t have to strip-off – just unfold the old lounger and get comfy for fifteen or twenty minutes.
Obviously, down here, at this time of year, I’d be wearing thermal underwear as well.
Yesterday was warm-ish (above 60F), but the wind (and the wind-chill) kept me inside most of the day. 🙁
I’vve got an appointment in Hobart later today, so I’ll at least get out for a walk with Luna somewhere down there.
The Domain, which I mentioned last week, is actually a murder site at the moment. Looks like a purse snatching gone horribly wrong. The police already have a suspect in custody, but are still searching for the weapon and other material clues.
Despite very strick gun laws, Australians are horribly adept at killing eachother with knives, fists, and blunt instruments. It’s quite shocking really, when one has come from America and is primarily used to gun deaths. I know it isn’t really, but it just seems more brutal to actually have to exert bodily energy to kill someone.
That’s horrible to hear. Even though guns are very much prevalent around here, the murders that are remembered most here were done with a baseball bat. The biggest murder that is sort of folklore now involved some escaped convicts who broke into an elderly couples farm house. The murdered the husband and threw his body down their well, and then threw the wife in on top of him. She had to stand on top of her dead husband so not to drown. She was finally found after a day. I guess it shows that no matter where you live, there are crazy people everywhere.
There was actually talk a couple of years back of paroling those people. That started a big uproar throughout the county.
Actually, I like to sit out on the deck where Sniff is lounging and read. It’s also near the bird feeder and after I’ve been out there for awhile the birds decide they don’t care that I’m there and come back to feed, which is an added enhancement.
Those of you with the ability (or courage) to click on my YouTube links know that I have a fondness for the “so wrong it’s right” video.
Heres another member of that fraternity. Enjoy.
Evening keres,
Very funny video. Nice picture of the wombat too. 🙂
You are a bright beacon on this gloomy day in KC.
Hi Grandma Jo.
A day without surrealism is like a day without a crocheted tea cozy.
around here we’re just waiting for the ‘lazy daze’ of summer to arrive.
It appears the lazy daze of spring is already there. 🙂
not all slackers are in Alabama. 🙂

Yet more reason to be in awe of you. 😉
I figure everyone is born with some special talent. Mine just happens to be slacking. 🙂

Hi keres.
How’s that cold Tasmanian wind treating you?

I was gonna mention taking a good book out to the lounger. 😉
and this link (unlike the one at the top) will take right to the voting page.
But I was shocked to discover that there would even need to be a vote on Albert as Best Bunny.
