Back from the first day of training at the summer job. Met a lot of good people, had a good time in general. Only problem is that I’m quite exhausted – without having done much work today – and I have to haul myself out of bed earlier tomorrow.
Oh well. Such is life.
No vacation, I’m on the bargaining team for my local. I’ll be stuck in meetings all summer.
Actually, we’re planning an awsome summer vacation (which Downunder means November/December/Jaunuary).
We’re going to New Zealand from mid-November to early December. We’ve already purchased our airfares and bus/train passes that will get us around both the North and the South Islands and to most of the major sites and cities.
Yes, there will be photos. 😀
I’m taking next week off. If I recall correctly, the plan is to lie on the floor, stare at the ceiling and scream until it starts to feel better. Unlike Keres, I doubt I’ll be taking any pictures.
That’s OK, unless you’re in the Sistine Chapel, or some Rococo monstrosity, ceilings are generally un-photogenic. Then there’s the whole issue of lighting them well . . . .
ROFL. That is exactly what I plan to do. I had all sorts of dreams of a really cool vacation, but since I don’t have the money or time, I finally put in for a week of just not fucking going to work!
Arizona, where I will hopefully meet Mr.Eegee.
🙂
Where in AZ are you, Man Egee? I’ll be passing through there late August myself…
